What are fillings?

Fillings or dental fillings are used to repair the damaged surfaces of teeth. The surface of teeth may be damaged by small fractures, damaged enamel or decay. It takes 25 to 90 minutes to place a filling in a tooth.

What different types of fillingsare there?

Is getting a filling painful?

Patients should not eat for at least three hours till the anaesthesia wears off. They should not eat or drink anything that is too hot or too cold for a few days. They should avoid very hard food. They should take all prescribed medications correctly. They should follow correct dental hygiene and brush and floss their teeth regularly.

I came from Canada for a tooth implant treatment, the reason I chose this place was this doctor responded and explained everything cost and duration, it’s worth every penny. I have read negative things about tooth implants in foreign countries swollen face, antibiotics and pain (YouTube) I didn’t take a single painkiller. Same day I arrived treatment started on Sunday second appointment on Thursday it was done. Friendly staff, I am 70 if I could handle anyone can.

Currently we are among a handful of clinics in Malaysia that offers,  Cerec Cad Cam, a fully computerised planning and manufacturing of full ceramic crowns on -site (Sirona, Germany)  This will enable us to provide full ceramic crowns  (for example E-Max by Ivoclar, Germany) within the same day, and complex cases within 1-2 days. It is a wonderful addition, enabling us to provide crowns for our cosmetic cases, and dental implants at a much faster rate and efficiency. As a comparison, previously it takes up to 2 weeks. It works well for our busy clients, and those planning to be in Malaysia for short trips. I need an emergency retainer removal, as it got damaged and was hurting my mouth and my tongue. Since I am travelling and in whole KL my insurance company has no contracted doctors, I have to find the help by myself.
