Suddenly got an excruciating toothache on a Saturday afternoon. I took painkillers and thought that somehow the pain would cease enough for to make an appointment with the local facility in my neighbourhood. I was wrong. The pain increased, so much so that I could barely sleep or eat. I went online and was lucky enough to connect with Canal View Dental Surgery and received an appointment for Sunday evening. I attended, of course !. And was kindly welcomed and received excellent treatment. The dentist managed to rid me of all pain and only because of his skill, he managed to retain my tooth. I have no problem in recommending him to anyone who is seeking excellent dental treatment and advice.

I got great treatment and never felt forced into getting work done on my teeth! I’m a nervous patient with gum disease. Due to Covid, it had been nearly a year since my last visit to the hygienist. I was expecting pain and discomfort and the usual lecture. Well, I was wrong.. Shauna, the hygienist, was amazing… I got pain-free but thoroughly clean and polished. The usual advice was delivered in sympathetic, non-hectoring tones. I’ll be back!

Having struggled with ill-fitting dentures for years, I was delighted to be recommended to Máirtín & given the opportunity to put things right! Our upcoming daughter's wedding gave me added encouragement. It was not an easy journey, starting out with removals, bone grafting & implants. All stages were handled with great care & attention to detail & made easier with up to date treatment. Conscious sedation was a huge benefit. I have to say that my mouth did look like a battlefield at times but it was worth it all in the end. I now have a beautiful set of teeth, carefully built to fit seamlessly into my mouth & not a bit out of place. My husband also had similar & successful treatment. A broken Porcelain Cap, it was an emergency and couldn't get anyone to see me I rang D2 Dental they were so helpful and kind, they saw me the same day, so relieved and happy with my experience at D2 Dental. Katie was an excellent dentist, and I've seen enough of them to know a good one, also the Very nice staff. Will recommend to friends and family.
I've attended Niall for many dental treatments since 2014 and I would highly recommend him, especially if you are a nervous patient!! The quality of his work is superb and he has a lovely, easy-going manner which really puts you at ease if you are an anxious patient like me.
