He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leeds and holds senior national roles in plastic surgery education and professional leadership. His specialist training includes fellowships in Craniofacial Surgery at the Australian Craniofacial Unit in Adelaide and Head and Neck Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery at the Royal Brisbane Hospital, Australia. He qualified in both Dentistry and Medicine, providing extensive knowledge of facial anatomy and reconstructive surgery.
