From the moment I met Dr. Maresky, whom I now simply call "G," I felt all my pre-consult nervousness, which one typically brings into a plastic surgeon's office, dissipate. In no time, it felt as if I was talking to a friend. Naturally, I had a long list of "wants" (this was my opportunity to become Brad Pitt's twin!). However, with much patience, Dr. G thoroughly explained the process, and procedure, and ended with his personal and professional recommendations. We settled on a lower lid blepharoplasty with fat grafts to be placed in the hollows under my eyes. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect from the surgery, but I just hoped for a fair result. However, the actual result blew my mind! While the change is significant, it is also so incredibly natural that I am yet to be asked if I've had any work done. I've had people say, "Wow, you're looking great! You look so well-rested/peaceful." Dr. G's bedside manner is amazing, as is his personal post-surgery patient contact care. I've already lined up a friend to book a procedure with him. He is now my 'go-to' plastic surgeon.

Consultation was detailed, and the results from surgery were beyond expectations. This skilled surgeon goes the extra mile and, as a woman, is extremely compassionate and in tune with your needs, and exceeds expectations. Costing was market-related and was fixed from the costing received at the consultation, with no variation, which is excellent, and there are no hidden costs or any additional costs after. Aftercare was great. This surgeon has blessed hands, is an absolute gem, and extremely knowledgeable. Besides has extensive experience, and you are absolutely safe in her care.

I have known Dr Meintjes since 1986. Over the years, he has performed various minor surgeries on myself, my wife and our youngest daughter. His service has always been excellent, nothing too small for him. He has always been friendly and keeps his patients well informed. Always has time for the smallest of surgeries required. Hope that he will be around for a good number of years to come and wish him all of the best.

Rating: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review: I recently returned to Dr. Clare Neser for a second major surgery, and I can now say with absolute certainty that she is simply brilliant. My journey started in August 2025 when I had an Extended/Fleur-de-lis abdominoplasty with rectus muscle plication. That experience was an absolute breeze. At the time, I thought perhaps I just got lucky with how fantastic the recovery went. However, on January 12, 2026, I underwent a second procedure—a Posterior Body Lift under general anaesthetic—and the experience was just as incredible. What amazes me most is the pain management. For two such massive procedures, it almost sounds untrue, but I can assure you: in both instances, I woke up from the anaesthetic with absolutely NO pain. It takes a truly skilled surgeon and a brilliant anaesthetist to achieve that level of comfort for a patient. I have gotten to know Dr. Neser over this time, and her skill is undeniable. But it isn’t just her; the entire ecosystem she works in is world-class. The anaesthetist is excellent, and the compassion and care shown by the theatre staff speaks volumes ("spreek boekdele") about why my recovery has been so good. A huge thank you as well to her receptionist and the office staff, who are always helpful and professional. If you are looking for a plastic surgeon, I recommend Dr. Neser without a shadow of a doubt.
