What is Liposuction?

Liposuction is a cosmetic surgical procedure where localized fat is broken up and sucked out of the body.  Liposuction is performed by making small incisions in the body in order to insert a thin tube, or cannula, through the incision into localized fat deposits between the skin and muscle of the patient. A suction pump or syringe is then used to suck out localized fat deposits.

What is the recovery time after Liposuction?

Recovery time after liposuction is usually one to two weeks, depending on the area of the body and the amount of localized fat sucked out.  You will see the end results of Liposuction within one to four months after the procedure.

Is Liposuction Painful?

Liposuction is painful but most surgeons perform the procedure under general anaesthesia to ensure that patients don’t feel pain. They also prescribe painkillers for relieving pain after surgery.

Is Liposuction Permanent?

The liposuction procedure permanently removes localized fat. The patient’s body will retain its contour after liposuction, provided the patient does not gain weight.

What is Non-Surgical Liposuction?

Liposuction procedures that do not use injections or incisions are called non-surgical liposuction procedures. These procedures are performed using laser energy, ultrasound, cryotherapy or radiofrequency.

Liposuction Recovery Tips?

Following the doctor’s post-procedure instructions helps patients to recover quickly and effectively after a liposuction procedure. These will include taking sufficient rest, taking prescribed anti-biotics and pain-killers and wearing compression garments correctly. The patient should also start moving as soon as possible to prevent blood clots but should avoid strenuous activities for at least a month.

Why visit Manila?

Why is Manila a popular tourist destination?

Manila, the capital of the Philippines, has a vast array of activities for tourists. The Rizal Park, named after Jose Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines, is studded with historical monuments.  Manila also has some well-known and historically significant churches and the world’s oldest Chinatown. Manila is a shopper's and bargain hunter's paradise with large malls that feel like mini-cities. Manila offers a wide range of accommodation options for tourists, from super luxury hotels to budget accommodation or self-catering apartments.

Why is Manila a popular international medical tourism destination?

Hospitals and clinics in Manila have world class facilities and offer high quality medical and dental treatments at affordable rates. The staff in the hospitals usually speak English. The hospitals and clinics that offer medical tourism are accredited by the Philippines Department of Health and internationally accredited by the JCI and ISO. They offer low cost healthcare packages combining treatment with a holiday for overseas patients.

How does a medical tourist get to Manila from the airport?

Manila is served by the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. There are taxis and airport buses that take tourists to the city. Tourists who want to travel in the traditional Filipino vehicle called Jeepney can find them waiting for customers outside the airport.

What are the visa requirements for medical tourists to the Philippines?

There are no specific medical tourism visas required for patients. Patients with valid passports and return tickets from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Kuwait and a few other countries do not require a Visa for staying in the Philippines for up to 21 days. Patients can get details of visa requirements by visiting the website: www.immigration.gov.ph

Results are perfect so far. I like my boobs, they look natural, they look coolSophia, Philippines, 16 12 19

Doctor Ryan, he is the best doctor I’ve met so far. Such a professional doctor with his team. From the first day when we just contacted by video call he was such helpful and explained everything accurate and clear. I was sure that I have found the right doc for me. Then on the consultation day, he explained to me one more time and the next day I came for operation. Everything was ok, personal was so nice to me. They even played for me music which I like to calm me down. After surgery, they even order me food and helped to eat (as I wasn’t able to eat by myself). Rehabilitation is going well. After surgery I visited their clinic twice then now doc is always keeping in touch with me if I need some questions to clarify. Results are perfect so far. I like my boobs, they look natural, they look cool. I'm very happy with the results. Can recommend every woman to do their operation with doctor Ryan.
