I emailed Dr. Kent on Tuesday night explaining I had a milia on my eyelid that I wanted to have removed. First thing Wednesday morning I had an email back offering me a free consultation. I contacted Dr. Kent’s secretary and made an appointment for the following Saturday. Dr. Kent was brilliant. He explained that he could not use laser to remove the milia as it was too close to my eye, and he recommended another treatment which involved micro needles which would apply an electric current. I was very happy to have the treatment as I was very self-conscious and wanted the milia gone. The treatment only took about 15 minutes and I was delighted with the result. It was painful towards the end but nothing unbearable. I would highly recommend Dr. Kent, he was polite, he explained everything to me, answered my questions and put me at ease. The surgery and waiting room were bright and spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend Dr. Kent.

I could not recommend Patrick and his staff highly enough, I attended the clinic in Dec 2021. Patrick identified a seriously concerning mole, and surgically removed it immediately. It was biopsied at SVUH, where stage 1B malignant melanoma was confirmed. Patrick followed up tirelessly with St Vincents to ensure that the necessary surgery and treatment took place as quickly as possible, it was the period of covid. SVUH Dermatology Dept were amazing. the additional surgery and testing confirmed that all of the cancer had been removed with no spread. Patrick's prompt intervention saved my life. lovexxx

Histology done at St. Vincents University Hospital.  The majority of skin lesions can be treated in a relatively simple manner. This entails surgical excision under local anaesthesia. Therefore the assessment and excision can frequently be performed at the initial consultation. If a skin cancer is suspected a diagnostic biopsy may have to be performed at the initial consultation. The treatment is completed as soon as the report is available.If the lesion has a completely benign appearance there is no need to request laboratory analysis.Therefore apart from skin cancers the treatment can frequently be completed on a single visit.
