Gillian's interest in Chinese Medicine and Philosophy began in the late 90s through the practice of Qi gong and Tai chi. In 2004 she commenced her training in traditional Chinese Medicine with the Acupuncture foundation of Ireland. Here she studied under Professor Jin Huide and Dr Wu Jidong, from the University of Traditional Chinese medicine, Nanjing.  In 2007, Gillian travelled to China to complete further training in Acupuncture at the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
