Acupuncturist Consultation up to €50
Fertility Acupuncture up to €50
Increase Fertility with Acupuncture. There are many reasons why couples have difficulty conceiving - irregular menstruation, hormone imbalance, cold uterus, low sperm count to name a few. Whatever the reason infertility can be a major cause of stress and hopelessness in otherwise healthy couples. Acupuncture combined with herbal medicine has been used for centuries to treat the causes of infertility. Acupuncture in particular has been known to dramatically increase fertility by regulating the menstrual cycle in females and invigorating and increasing sperm count in males. A German Study conducted in 2002 used two groups of woman experiencing fertility difficulties, to determine the effects of acupuncture on IVF treatments. In the first group acupuncture treatments were carried out 25 minutes before embryo transfer and 25 minutes after the embryo was inserted into the uterus. In the second group no acupuncture treatments were given. Study findings showed a successful pregnancy rate of 42.5% in the first group of woman compared to 26.3% in the second group that had no acupuncture treatments. This highlighted a significant difference of 16.2% between the two groups of woman. In each Care Cure clinic we look for the underlying problem of disharmony which is preventing conception. Treatments for fertility difficulties and male impotency usually include acupuncture, acupressure, moxibustion and herbal medicines.
Acupressure €10 - €40
Acupressure is a good alternative for anyone suffering from a phobia of needles as it follows the same principle as acupuncture. It works by stimulating the same acupuncture points on the surface of the body but instead of using needles, the practitioner will apply pressure with the hands. Acupressure is an effective method of improving blood circulation and repairing tissue damage throughout the body. Via nerve stimulation acupressure can induce relaxation and improve skin tone, ease tension in muscles and joints, repair facial lymph damage and generally tone the body. For this reason it is often used as a facial beauty therapy. Acupressure has also seen considerable success in curing insomnia, lessening fatigue and dispelling back and joint pain.

My stress levels decreased too which was an improvement to my overall healthSahara, Ireland, 13 09 19

I had the Chinese acupuncture with Anne for three or four weeks as I was looking for an alternative method in order to stabilise hormones imbalance, tiredness and fatigue a few months after having my baby boy. The tiredness levels were much lower towards our last sessions than they were when we started, my stress levels decreased too which was an improvement to my overall health. I'd definitely recommend Anne because I felt her treatment worked for what I needed help with.

Chinese Medicine Theory states that there are a number of organ systems within the human body which need to interact in harmony with each other and the outside environment in order to maintain physical balance, and that loss of this harmony results in illness. It also finds that there are channels related to these organ systems running throughout the body. The insertion of needles in certain points along these energy channels help restore balance between the organ systems and bring about good health. A series of weekly treatments is normally required to allow the body to return to the harmony needed for good health. Less serious conditions will require a shorter treatment term, with longer term treatment usually needed for more chronic conditions.

I am very happy to recommend Malou without any hesitation. She offers an acupuncture service of the highest quality. She has helped me greatly with stress- and insomnia-related conditions, through a minimum number of treatments which were of very good value. I have found her to be an extremely experienced and skilled practitioner. This is complemented further by her highly personable and caring nature. I have also really enjoyed the relaxing and calming atmosphere at her clinic. I have found her sessions extremely helpful in improving my overall well being and would gladly recommend her to anyone.

I felt almost immediate and ongoing reliefEleanor, Ireland, 08 03 16

I suffer with back pain and am reluctant to take regular analgesia. I have always been sceptical about Acupuncture and other complementary therapies. However having attended Perrine’s clinic I have been completely converted. I felt almost immediate and ongoing relief. Perrine is extremely thorough in her history taking and leaves nothing to chance. She is also friendly and approachable in her manner. She is excellent at explaining what she is doing / going to do. The clinic is maintained to a very high standard. I will be back and would recommend her to anyone.

Acupuncture consultation from €50
An acupuncture consultation is the first time the patient and the acupuncturist meet. It takes around an hour and half with history taken. It could be combined with needling +/or moxibustion +/or cupping +/or electro-acupuncture if needed during consultation. The addition of a therapy in the treatment provided doesn't increase the price of the consultation.
