I always felt relaxed leaving her practice and felt the benefits along the waySinead, Ireland, 29 06 21

Inna has had a significant impact on my journey to motherhood and helped me through many different feelings, side effects and pregnancy symptoms. Her ability to care for and help each patient with acupuncture is a credit to her as both a professional and a human being. I always felt relaxed leaving her practice and felt the benefits along the way. Thanks, Inna for all your help.

Electro-Acupuncture
Electro-Acupuncture has been found to profoundly affect the reproductive organs, through mechanisms in the sympathetic nervous system, endocrine system, and neuro-endocrine system.  When needles are inserted into certain points and stimulated in a specific manner, this produces a neurological reflex transmitted to the organ correlated with that nerve pathway.  For example, needles inserted into the leg muscles below the knee, lower back, or abdomen in specific regions cause a response which measurably affects the ovary.  In addition, the nervous system will transmit a signal to the brain, and the brain then emits a response which affects the organ from a central mechanism.  These effects have been investigated through measurements of hormones, neuropeptides, and circulatory changes on both animals and humans receiving this specific type of electro-acupuncture. Electro-Acupuncture is the part of the regular acupuncture treatment you will receive in our clinic and involves no additional cost.
Fertility Acupuncture
Acupuncture 4 Women specializes in women’s health, helping women through each stage of pregnancy, from pre-conception care and support during infertility treatments, through pregnancy and birth, to successful post natal care. Of all the available treatments for infertility, acupuncture isnt one that people usually think of first, but it’s actually one of the safest and most effective treatments for infertility known to modern science. Why does it work so well? Because infertility isnt usually a physical problem. Its often an issue related to circulation or energy channels that govern the vitality of your body’s organs (including reproductive organs). Rebalancing those bioelectric channels can create enormous healing changes in the function of your reproductive organs. Fertility issuesUp to 60% increase rate of successful IVF, IUI.. Pregnancy related conditionsPre birth treatmentsPost natal careWhichever stage you are at, we are here to provide a helping hand every step of the way. We will help you and your baby to have the best pregnancy possible Some of the women I treat are not able to get pregnant because they are not ovulating.  It turns out that acupuncture can have a powerful effect on the ovaries. Acupuncture can increase blood flow in the pelvic region improving the blood supply to the reproductive organs, improving the quality of the uterine lining and nourishing the developing follicle. Acupuncture has a normalizing effect on reproductive hormones. It reduces the effects of stress on the body and lowers stress related hormones that can impede ovulation.
Auricular Acupuncture
Auricular acupuncture (on the ear) is capable of producing results comparable to those of drug therapy in the treatment of infertility. Unlike regular acupuncture, auricular acupuncture focuses only on the ear. There are over 200 acupuncture points on the outer ear. Most of these points are named after a part of the human anatomy. The outer ear is essentially a switch board to the brain and when acupoints on the ear are stimulated, they trigger electrical impulses to the specific area of the body that is being treated. Auricular Acupuncture is the part of the regular acupuncture treatment you will receive in our clinic and involves no additional cost.

Can’t wait to get more treatments doneMichelle, Bulgaria, 07 11 22

Just been to David for first time. Very professional and listened to all I had to say and answered any questions I had. First treatment went great. Never had acupuncture before and felt very assured as to what was happening by David. Will be returning in two weeks for more treatment on my knee. Feel some relief already. Can’t wait to get more treatments done. Pain is very hard to live with and can restrict your movements very much.

Increase Fertility with Acupuncture. There are many reasons why couples have difficulty conceiving - irregular menstruation, hormone imbalance, cold uterus, and low sperm count to name a few. Whatever the reason infertility can be a major cause of stress and hopelessness in otherwise healthy couples. Acupuncture combined with herbal medicine has been used for centuries to treat the causes of infertility. Acupuncture in particular has been known to dramatically increase fertility by regulating the menstrual cycle in females and invigorating and increasing sperm count in males. A German Study conducted in 2002 used two groups of women experiencing fertility difficulties, to determine the effects of acupuncture on IVF treatments. In the first group, acupuncture treatments were carried out 25 minutes before embryo transfer and 25 minutes after the embryo was inserted into the uterus. In the second group, no acupuncture treatments were given. Study findings showed a successful pregnancy rate of 42.5% in the first group of women compared to 26.3% in the second group that had no acupuncture treatments. This highlighted a significant difference of 16.2% between the two groups of women. In each Care Cure clinic, we look for the underlying problem of disharmony which is preventing conception. Treatments for fertility difficulties and male impotency usually include acupuncture, acupressure, moxibustion and herbal medicines.

Malou Acupuncture Counselling is a friendly, welcoming acupuncture practice in Dublin providing treatments for a variety of health conditions and promoting patient's general wellbeing. It is run by Malou Wang, a practitioner with over 20 years experience in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Dublin and Shanghai. Having worked and trained in Chinese and Irish hospitals, Malou ensures a balance between Eastern and Western medicine in her practice. Through almost 2 decades of acupuncture practice, I have always been curious about psyche (Mind) and somatic (Body) interconnection. After 4 years of studying at Dublin Business School, I have been awarded a bachelor degree BA in Counselling and Psychotherapy. These studies have enhanced my empathetic understanding of feelings of myself and others. When Western medicine and philosophy meets Eastern, it allows Mind, Body and Spirit to emerge into the ‘ONE’. Malou’s specialities are: Emotional conditions – Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Panic Attacks, InsomniaCancer careGynaecology  – Infertility, Pregnancy, Inducing Labour, Breech Babies, Menstrual and Menopausal ProblemsPain relief – Headaches, Migraines, Sciatica, Low Back Pain, Neck Pain, WhiplashElderly care – Physical and Emotional Conditions
