Gillian continually updates her skills by regularly undergoing further professional courses. Gillian is also a founding member of the Zita West Affiliated network. Gillian's interest in Chinese Medicine and Philosophy began in the late 90s through the practice of Qi gong and Tai chi. In 2004 she commenced her training in traditional Chinese Medicine with the Acupuncture foundation of Ireland. Here she studied under Professor Jin Huide and Dr Wu Jidong, from the University of Traditional Chinese medicine, Nanjing.  In 2007, Gillian travelled to China to complete further training in Acupuncture at the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The philosophy of care is to promote physical, emotional and mental well being based on the combined principles of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. The clinic offers acupuncture and a range of Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments by qualified practitioner, Gennie Collins BA (Hons), Lic. Ac. (China), Dip. Ac. Dip.Tui Na. Gennie has a special interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, but can treat most common ailments. Currently Gennie is available most days by appointment only, including weekends as required.
