Last year my GP sent to a therapist for stress management (night time palpitations, negative thinking, insomnia and exhaustion). I was skeptical. Nobody was recommended, so I checked Google and opted for Declan Coyle. I got lucky finding Declan, he was very easy to strike a rapport with and gave some excellent advice. My GP said that it would take c6 months of therapy until I found my way, but after six meetings I felt revitalised. I strongly recommend Declan to anybody stuck in the mire and looking to get out.

Clinical experience shows that if you are motivated and set yourself realistic goals, psychotherapy is likely to be of benefit.How long will it take?The length of treatment will be determined by what you are offered following assessment. How often are the sessions? Most psychotherapy is once weekly, although sometimes client’s circumstances won’t allow for this, so an alternative arrangement will be made. Cognitive therapy seeks to help the client overcome difficulties by identifying and changing there thinking errors, behaviour, and emotions. This involves helping patients develop skills to change beliefs, identifying thinking errors and changing behaviours. Treatment is based the collaboration between the client and the therapist. I've been attending counselling sessions with Eoin for many months now, mainly as a result of academic stress and anxiety. I've had good success with managing the stress of completing a masters and beyond into the everyday anxiety I experience. Not to embellish, but it is hard to imagine the last year going as well as it has without Eoin's help. Many people I know have found it hard to click with therapists immediately but thankfully Eoin is professional and warm. I have the utmost confidence in his training and experience within therapy. I highly recommend this practice. Mostly all said above, but on a practical level, the practice itself is comfortable and well located.

I was suffering badly with stress and I didn't know why. I had 6 sessions with Brian and I felt back fighting fit. He is very good at asking the right questions and digging down under the layers. I'll be keeping his number should I ever need it again. Great location with a quiet discreet entrance. I felt as comfortable in the clinic as I do at home in my living room.

I visited Justine after Christmas to discuss some anxieties I was having in regards to my personal life, I felt I had reached a point where I could deal with it as much as I could by myself and would benefit from the kind listening ear of an impartial professional. This is one of the best experiences I have given myself, over the course of our sessions Justine helped me find tools to manage my worries and stresses in a productive and lasting way. I was anxious about going in the first place,but I could not have been put at more ease - Justine provides a a safe environment to open up about whatever is concerning you without feeling judged. At the end of our sessions it was clear to see the progress that had been made when we compared anxiety and well being checklists that had been carried out at the first session. I can not recommend Justine enough, she was kind, supportive and while thoroughly professional throughout it felt more like talking to a friend than a therapist.
