Very welcoming, kind, listened, took on board everything I had to say and gave me the best adviceKN, Ireland, 27 03 20

I attended Brian for 10 sessions. I was at a place in my life where I needed to talk to someone who could give me non-judgemental advise and coach me on how to deal with issues that I was faced with. Before I rang to make the first appointment I read through the reviews because I wanted to speak to somebody that was good and not waste my time. All the reviews were spot on. Brian was exactly the person everyone had said he was. Very welcoming, kind, listened, took on board everything I had to say and gave me the best advice but not only that he opened my eyes to a lot of things. I’ll be forever great full to Brian as his help really changed my life around. I would highly recommend him.

When something in your life is not how you'd like it to be, or when you're looking for help and support for something that you're going through; perhaps a life event, a particular concern or maybe problems with relationships, at home, in school or at work. Maybe you are experiencing feelings of anxiety, frustration, fear, sadness or other emotions.  Stress can be a part of this.  Counselling can help you to better understand what might be going on for you, and to find ways to effectively manage feelings, thoughts or worries.  My experience is that clients come to counselling because they want something in their life to be different. I appreciate that it's often not easy to come to counselling. I welcome clients with warmth and openness, and a non-judgemental listening ear. I am a Person-Centred Therapist and I use ACT, CBT and Choice Theory to help clients work through an issue or to help them shine a new light on an area of their life that is not currently how they would like it to be.Sometimes what we need is to be listened to and heard.  Coming to see a therapist is a brave step towards getting support.  Allowing yourself to talk about and express what you are experiencing might be what you need at this time.  We often don't 'press pause' in our lives, we often don't give ourselves the time or space to check in with ourselves. I can see a great improvement in my own behaviourJenny, Ballyduff, Tralee, 10 02 16

I recently had some counselling sessions with Aidan for panic attacks. Aidan is very understanding, approachable and most of all very easy to talk to. He makes you feel at ease right from the beginning and does his utmost best at all times to reassure you and help you understand your own thought processes. I was very apprehensive about counselling in general in the beginning as I feared it would be very formal, all note taking and analyzing everything I did. However this is not the case as to me, it just feels like I am having a nice chat. I think this is why you can feel at ease right from the beginning with Aidan. From having these sessions I can see a great improvement in my own behaviour, which I am delighted about. Aidan has helped me to control and monitor my panic attacks, which I'm very happy to say have decreased immensely since starting the sessions with him. I would highly recommend Aidan to anyone considering counselling. Was chosen as part of an Employee Assistance program offered by my Employer. The place is easy to find being in Dublin City Centre, not far from St Stephens Green where the sessions take place on the top floor of the building.

I am forever grateful to have been counselled by herDeclan, Ireland, 28 03 17

Having seen several therapists due to severe anxiety and several bouts of depression, I can confidently say that Laura has been the most compassionate and sincere of them all. She offered me a safe haven and always handled my worries and problems with an unbiased and non-judgemental approach. Laura has played a huge part in strengthening my confidence and self-esteem. I can honestly say that without her I wouldn't have got through a testing time. Laura was full of patience, kindness and encouragement, and I am forever grateful to have been counselled by her.
