Connecting Mindfully (counselling & psychotherapy) - Psychotherapy Clinic in Ireland
5.0 from 1 verified review
When something in your life is not how you'd like it to be, or when you're looking for help and support for something that you're going through; perhaps a life event, a particular concern or maybe problems with relationships, at home, in school or at work. Maybe you are experiencing feelings of anxiety, frustration, fear, sadness or other emotions.  Stress can be a part of this.  Counselling can help you to better understand what might be going on for you, and to find ways to effectively manage feelings, thoughts or worries.  My experience is that clients come to counselling because they want something in their life to be different. I appreciate that it's often not easy to come to counselling. I welcome clients with warmth and openness, and a non-judgemental listening ear. I am a Person-Centred Therapist and I use ACT, CBT and Choice Theory to help clients work through an issue or to help them shine a new light on an area of their life that is not currently how they would like it to be. Sometimes what we need is to be listened to and heard.  Coming to see a therapist is a brave step towards getting support.  Allowing yourself to talk about and express what you are experiencing might be what you need at this time.  We often don't 'press pause' in our lives, we often don't give ourselves the time or space to check in with ourselves. The experience of loss is different for everyone. While the family is often the best place for support, an outside support is sometimes required.   I provide support for clients in line with their personal beliefs.  Confidentiality assured
Childhood Loss €60 - €80
The death of a loved one during childhood is a very difficult experience and impacts on the normal development process.  It differs greatly from the experiences of adults and is often misunderstood.  The need to protect a child often conflicts with their need to be involved and to understand what is happening.  Contact me for further information if you are concerned or have experienced a loss during your own childhood.
Psychotherapist Consultation €60 - €80
Psychotherapy offers the opportunity to better understand ourselves and how we live.  It can be the difference between surviving and thriving. Integrative psychotherapy does not try to fit the client into one type of therapy as it utilises many different therapies and can tailor-fit the therapy to the individual needs of each person.

Aisling Mc Govern Nolan - Psychotherapy Clinic in Ireland

Aisling Mc Govern Nolan

Rathfarnham, Dubin 16, Dublin
Counselling  enables you to process those emotions and feelings that are holding you back from living the life you deserve. It is my job as the therapist to hold you in the heart centred space  while you explore these emotions and feelings as you speak about your concerns. By gaining insight into  your emotions, behaviour and feelings you will feel more empowered  to make choices that are positive for your wellbeing. I find that clients often come to their  first few sessions feeling  anxious  and nervous about  what is going to happen  or indeed what to say. I assure each and every client that this is common and I therefore endeavour to put you at ease as much as possible. Every client's story is unique and everyone  is given the utmost freedom to express without judgment what is no longer working in their world My approach as a therapist is integrative and therefore unique to each clients needs. I pull from a range of therapeutic practices  which include CBT, Choice Therapy, Person Centred, Spiritual and Shamanism.  I look forward to joining you on your journey
