Throughout our sessions she was superb and she got me to feel safe and secureFredrik, Ireland, 01 11 16

I came to Laura because of anger issues and she helped me not only on how to manage my anger but also to find the cause of it. Throughout our sessions she was superb and she got me to feel safe and secure so I could open up and tell my story. Central and easy to get to. The rooms are brightly decorated and I felt at ease when I came in.

All the content has somehow helped me know myself betterCarolina, Brazil, 18 09 19

I've known her online work for a few months, and all the content has somehow helped me know myself better and the talks and subjects brought were valuable to initiate them with my therapist and guided my therapy sessions. The content is very didactic, and the written material, super well done, which indicates the same qualities on the writer. The only reason that kept me from knowing her in person is an oceanic distance.

Insight Matters provides Individual, Relationship and Group Counselling, Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for a wide range of issues. Psychotherapy and counselling gives you a regular time to think and talk about the issues, which are stopping you from living a happier and fuller life. This is carried out in a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space. It works best when a collaborative relationship is formed between you and your therapist. When you see a psychotherapist or counsellor you get to learn more about yourself and how your mind and body works and the relationship between your beliefs and thoughts and how you feel and behave. These changes include: • Becoming more able to feel, identify and express emotions.• Making connections (e.g. between feelings and behaviours or past and present experiences).• Gaining a greater understanding of behaviours.• Developing effective emotional and practical coping strategies.• Re-evaluating perceptions and past experiences, this often leads us to become more self-accepting. Initial Meeting This may be your first time entering therapy; here is a list of what we have seen to be true for many people about therapy: •It takes time to establish a trusting relationship with a therapist. •It is important to go at your own pace and not overwhelm yourself.  •We all resist change. Don’t be surprised if you are tempted to quit right before some real changes or breakthroughs are about to happen. •Becoming more healthy and balanced can feel very unfamiliar and uncomfortable at first. •Therapy is hard work. •Some therapy is short term (usually focusing on one issue and situation) and other therapy may be longer term (more than one or complex issues.)  •Expect your therapist to hold strong boundaries, be ethical, and treat you with respect.  •Remember that therapy, in the hands of a skilled therapist, is a powerful and life-changing experience. It has been shown to be effective for a variety of difficulties and problems. If you need therapy and work as an active participant in your own treatment, you can expect it will be well worth the time and money you invest.

Nozomi Counselling & Psychotherapy - Psychotherapy Clinic in Ireland

Nozomi Counselling & Psychotherapy

46 Mountjoy Square South, Dublin
Affordable Counselling & Psychotherapy in Dublin City Centre My name is Simon Forsyth and I have a Diploma and First Class Honours Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from PCI College, where I now also work as a lecturer. Nozomi is a Japanese word meaning 'hope' or 'wish'. Seeking help by talking to a professional about what is troubling you can be the first step towards bringing hope to a difficult situation and making a real change for the better. The type of therapy I offer is called Person-centred. The approach was founded by renowned psychologist Carl Rogers, who believed that everyone has an in-built capacity to grow and find their place in the world, while at the same time recognising that we may need a bit of help to do this.Working with a counsellor gives you a confidential space where you can be yourself. Whatever it is that you are struggling with or wanting to explore can be brought into the room and kept safe there for as long as you need. We all have ups and downs  in our lives - some that go on for longer than others - but the counselling relationship acknowledges that we are all unique, and will react to different situations in different ways.My aim is to offer you an accepting, non-judgemental environment where you are really listened to, where you can grow, and where you can find your own answers, in your own time.
