I have been going to St Jude's for years. I am someone who runs quite a lot so I end up with plenty of injuries, aches and pains and each time I go to St Jude's they always manage to fix me and send me on my way. The whole team are fantastic but I would like to give a particular shout out to Charlotte who is someone you can put 100% faith in that she will give you the very best advice and treatment.

Our physiotherapists focus first and foremost on resolving your pain, stabilising an injury or condition and keeping it from getting worse. Initial 1 hour assessment £69.00 includes treatment. Follow-ups £45 for 30 mins 9am - 6pm. £48.00 before 9 am and after 6pm and on Saturdays. It may be possible to treat some initial cases in 30 mins eg thumb sprain but please ask for details.

I was hospitalised due to my back problem and was advised I needed physiotherapy. I tried getting in touch with the NHS but couldn't get an appointment. I was recommended to Stefan, who is based in Eckington, and I'm so glad I went to him. He has helped me enormously, and I am back to being fully functional. He is very professional and knows his stuff, and worked wonders for me, of which I'm more than grateful for. He has a good rapport with his clients and makes you feel at ease and does his job well. It's a good idea to wear shorts and a lose training top if male, and shorts and strapless top if female. This enables us to have a good look at your spine and posture if needed. However for some treatments and assessments we may ask you to remove your top, this enables us to better asses the condition or injury. Assessment: This first takes the form of a detailed chat, where we gather all the important information about your condition and any related information that could prove useful in treating you. This includes your past medical history and the history of your injury. We then move on to more physical assessment, looking at posture, functional movements, muscle tests, ligament stability tests and neuromuscular (nerve) tests where appropriate.Diagnostic: All the information gathered from the assessment is then used to formulate a diagnosis (we tell you whats wrong). We will then give you some treatment options and advise you on how working together we intend to treat the injury/condition. We will also give you a time frame for recovery. Rehabilitation: Depending on your condition rehabilitation may become a large part of your recovery. We will give you the tools, understanding and guidance to manage your injury.

I was looking for an Acupuncture clinic having moved into the area. I’m so pleased I found The Courtyard Clinic in Dursley. It’s a welcoming space and the Reception staff were very kind. My Acupuncture appointment with Sally was exceptional and I feel she has an innate understanding of my various health issues. I have confidence in her ability to help me. From my experience I completely recommend The Courtyard Clinic and as an added bonus for me there is a small car park with Blue Badge space.
