Thank you, Dr Sam. I've been a fan of chiropractice since my original back injury decades ago. Once one has a 'bad back', one has it for life. Therefore, it's a problem that needs repeated episodes of treatment over time. Amongst the features that make me so grateful to chiropractice is that (a) it brings a degree of relief almost instantly; sometimes the problem is corrected almost instantly, within a single session; and (b) it is such a focalized treatment that relieves pain in areas that no other modality can reach.

I have just started treatment at the Atlas Chiropractor clinic for lower back pain, it's something I have suffered with for years, through wear and tear etc. It has been somewhat debilitating at times, however, after my first visit and treatment, I feel confident to imagine healthier and happy times ahead!

I am a highly trained sports massage therapist working in Chelmsford center. Trained with NLSSM to level 5 BTEC in sports and remedial massage,  i work with the bodies soft tissue at a deep level to ascertain a change in the fibres, either increasing the healing rate of injured tissue, realigning tissue fibres to keep injury free or changing the tissue action and altering stimuli to get a patient in chronic pain reducing pain levels and decreasing pain killers, back to functional movement. I use a range of hands on techniques, MET, STR, and in addition to hands on I can use acupuncture or dry needling which is an invasive treatment, but always within the patients comfort zone. I also have specialised training in oncology massage. Massage in cancer patients is designed to lessen stress levels, reconnect with the body, reduce pain levels within cancer treatments, help the flow of the bodies natural systems to restart, either calming or reactivating. The clinic is on the second floor, so disabled access is limited, but home visits can be arranged.
