Eilis Kinsella Physiotherapist MISCP
Eilis graduated from University College Dublin in 2012 with an honours degree of Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. Eilis is currently a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists. Eilis is passionate about improving the quality of life of the people she works with.
Since graduating from UCD Eilis has worked in Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital, Caritas Convalesce Centre, HSE Primary Care and Enable Ireland, where she has gained a variety of experience working in areas such as Musculoskeletal, Paediatrics Physiotherapy, Disability Services, Neurology, Orthopaedics and Geriatric Physiotherapy
Eilis has completed many continuous professional development courses including, Sports Traumatology and Pitch Side Care, National Orthopaedic Symposium, Hip study day and many more. During the past 4 years Eilis has worked with many League of Ireland and Airtricity league soccer teams as well as All Ireland League rugby teams and professional golfers.
Eilis believes that education and empowering clients is key to good health. Having gained a wide knowledge in many different areas of physiotherapy and healthcare over the years, Eilis believes in using the most up to date, evidence based practice combined with client centred care to empower her clients to manage pain and treat injuries.
Eilis uses a combination of treatment techniques including, joint mobilisation, deep and soft tissue massage, trigger point therapy, strength and conditioning, exercise prescription and education on pain management.
