It was a brilliant treatment. Worth every penny. I had an hour-long deep tissue massage. Felt amazing after it, totally relieved my neck and back pain.

I was so impressed by Alan and his team. Following a car accident, I was in a lot of pain and suffering. From the first visit, I felt I was really listened to. Alan identified Costochondritis as one of my issues and worked on my rib cage area. That was someplace to start. I also have a number of injuries, cervical and thoracic pain and Alan identified a muscle weakness that had led to my shoulder blade moving. This was causing so much pain and over a number of weeks with suitable exercises and physiotherapy Alan had the muscles stronger and the shoulder blade back in place. Over the years I have attended Physios who give you moves to do but don't massage the muscles. This is where LL differs. I would recommend Alan in Laurel Lodge Physio. I am so glad that I started my recovery here.

I cannot really say enough about my therapist Helena. It felt as if she was treating me at my home, she made me feel so welcome. No "Airs or Graces" about Helena, she explained everything to me in layman's terms. On my second visit, she had a programme already made out for me. She was down to earth, funny, welcoming and very understanding. What more can I say? An experience you will enjoy.

I had an excellent treatment. I have seen Lisa, Richard and Eileen. Richard is very good at dry needling and manipulation. The treatment really helped with my back and brought me from not being able to get out of bed. A lovely and very clean clinic with nice staff.

I have attended Portobello Physio on a number of occasions over many years. I have been treated by David O’Connell for lower back, shoulder, and Achilles strains. On each occasion, David’s treatment linked with a series of exercises has been superb and has got me back to better than normal in no time at all.

Having never had my back and spine looked at previously and after 10+ years of carrying excess weight, I have been incredibly lucky to find Dr Chenot. She has been a magician working on re-adjusting me and alleviating a lot of stress as well as increasing my range of motion and overall allowing me to feel a lot more positive about myself. She also does a wonderful job of explaining exactly what's happening and how what she is doing is going to relieve what is ailing me. The front-desk staff is incredibly friendly also. Never have to wait more than 1-2 mins after arrival before being seen and they send reminders 24 hours before the next appointment to ensure a smooth experience. Could not be happier!

I had a consultation and treatment session with Colette for planter fasciitis. I knew immediately I was in good hands….very knowledgable about the condition and skilled in treatment. She prescribed and procured orthotics and recommended stretching exercises. Colette is truly professional and very good value. She was recommended by a friend who had benefited from her treatment for same condition. And I am well on the road to recovery
