Aifric Morrissey MISCP, BSc (Physio), Dip Safety and Welfare at Work (Physio)

Aifric graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1989 and entered private practice three years later. She has travelled to major international championships with the Athletics Association of Ireland and was an Olympic Council physiotherapist at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Aifric is keenly involved with the development of the profession and was Chairperson of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists from 2000-2002. She completed a two year Diploma in Safety Health and Welfare at Work in 1995 and has maintained her interest in occupational injuries and rehabilitation.

David O’Connell MISCP, MSc Physiotherapy, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist

David graduated from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh and has worked in several private clinics in both Ireland and the U.K.  His experience includes extensive work with a number of sports and governing bodies at elite level including the FAI, Tennis Ireland, Federation Cup, Dublin Hurling, Killester Basketball and Division 1 Scottish Rugby.  David’s additional post-graduate training includes Dry Needling Techniques, Spinal Manipulation, Functional Movement Screening, Kinesio Taping and Advanced Emergency on-field Care.  David played professional tennis, representing Ireland in the Davis Cup. One of his main areas of clinical interest is exercise rehabilitation and he is a member of both the Association of National Strength and Conditioning and of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sport and Exercise Medicine.

Darragh graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons having previously completed a B.Sc. in Sports Science and Health at Dublin City University. His lifelong interest in sport includes representing Ireland internationally as a junior tennis player. He was also awarded a scholarship to North Carolina State University. Joe Normoyle MISCP, MSc Physiotherapy

Joe qualified in Edinburgh and has held positions in diverse settings in both the private and public sectors. He has worked with rugby, football, hockey and golf teams, including Hearts FC and the Scottish U21’s Hockey team. His broad exposure has gained him extensive experience in all aspects of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy. Anne Herlihy MISCP, MCSP. H.Dip Musculoskeletal Medicine

Anne graduated from University College Dublin in 1982 and spent 15 years working in large hospitals throughout Ireland and the U.K., including as a Senior Physiotherapist in Orthopaedic Outpatients. She has spent the last 12 years in Private Practice, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders including acute and chronic sports injuries and spinal dysfunctions. In 2005 Anne graduated with distinction from a H. Dip in Musculoskeletal Medicine, succeeded by a certificate in Manual Therapy the following year. She has recently undergone specific training in the use of Dry Needling as a treatment technique for Myofascial pain and dysfunction.
