Progress Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic is situated in Halfway, Sheffield and is run by an experienced Chartered and State Registered Physiotherapist who has worked in the NHS, private sector and at the 2012 Olympics. We are committed to provide high quality and effective treatment for back pain, neck pain, sports injuries and a wide range of joint, muscle, ligament, nerve and other complex problems.

Here at Ross Cairns Physiotherapy we provide treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries, both acute and chronic. We also provide treatment for sports injuries to help get you back to optimum performance again. Chartered physiotherapists who are registered with most major health insurance providers treat patients at the clinic. Home visits are arranged for severely ill and elderly patients. Physiotherapists take a detailed history and use orthopaedic tests to diagnose a patient’s problems (in the same way as orthopaedic specialists would).  If we feel your problem requires further investigation (e.g. an X-Ray or MRI scan) we will refer you on to the necessary specialist for this to happen.  We will explain your condition and rationalise an approach to try to effectively treat it.  Treatment will usually encourage the patient to take an active role (e.g. modify activities, look at work tasks/set ups, or do exercises) to help them self-manage their problems and to also focus on injury prevention and to decrease the chance of injury recurrence.
