Training: I trained in The Lansdowne School of Acupuncture under the excellent tutelage of Dr. Vincent Carroll. I graduated with a Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Certificate in Clinical medicine. I have done additional training in Auricular acupuncture and Cosmetic acupuncture.  Professional Body: I am a member of the ACI. The Acupuncture Council of Ireland is responsible for regulation and maintenance of a Register of Acupuncturists. Only fully qualified and insured practitioners can become members of the organisation. Ruth McWilliam Acupuncture is a Registered Nurse and member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society.She offers a mobile acupuncture service covering the Forth Valley area. She offers treatment in your own home for those living in the Stirling, Clackmannan and Falkirk areas. Other areas nearby may be considered, please call to enquire. Ruth uses acupuncture, dry needling, and auriculotherapy as a complementary, and holistic therapy to help manage a number of conditions. She has a special interest in pain management, both acute and chronic. Ruth is the only private practitioner of acupuncture of registered nurse status in the area and whose clinic is registered with Healthcare Improvement Scotland.
