Osteopath Consultation £53 - £70
At North Norfolk Osteopaths our experienced Osteopaths offer treatment for a variety of conditions including neck or back pain, joint or muscular pain, sports injuries, recurring headaches and more. Many of our patients are pregnant mothers, unsettled babies and children, sports people, or those with work strain or pain and stiffness related to advancing years. Osteopathy is a gentle and effective hands on approach to healthcare.  Osteopaths specialize in the diagnosis, management, treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal and other related disorders Osteopaths use touch, physical manipulation, stretching and massage to increase joint mobility, relieve muscle tension, enhance blood and nerve supply to tissues, and to help your body’s own healing mechanisms.  Our Osteopaths also provide advice on posture and exercise to aid recovery, promote health and prevent symptoms recurring.
Back Pain Treatment £53 - £70
Over 60% of the UK’s population experience back pain or pain related to the back, at some stage in their lives. A problem in your back may be  causing you back ache, shooting pains, cramps, stiffness or an inability to stretch out. However, problems in your back can also cause pain in other more remote areas such as the buttocks, groin, hips, and legs (known as sciatica). Problems in the back and neck can also cause symptoms such as dizziness, headaches, clicking jaw and pins and needles. Research has shown that back pain is significantly reduced after osteopathic treatment and that the benefits can last for several months. NICE (the National Institute of Clinical Excellence) guidelines recommend manipulative therapies including osteopathy for the treatment of low back pain. At North Norfolk Osteopaths our experienced Osteopaths offer a range of treatments tailored to the individual patient. These include gentle manipulations, soft tissue massage, joint articulation and stretching of muscles, to give relief from pain and improve the function.

I was very impressed with the makeover of the building of Total Health. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The first visit was free whilst Neil assessed my needs as he explained what the main issue was and we agreed on a treatment plan. I was given exercises to do which was explained and was given a printed instructions and pictures to follow. I had 3 visits to Neil who was friendly and professorial at all times. I was also advised of items to purchase to help with my issues. I would recommend Neil to anyone.

Oak Tree Osteopathy - Oak Tree Osteopathy logo

Oak Tree Osteopathy

2 Oak Tree Avenue, Marlow, SL7 3EJ
Osteopathy is an established primary healthcare system of diagnosis and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions. By looking at the structure and function of the body, by taking a thorough case history and examination, areas of imbalance are recognised and treated through a means of soft tissue massage, manipulation, stretching and articulation to increase joint mobility, relieve muscle spasm and enhance the blood and nerve supply to the body. At Oak Tree Osteopathy we take the time to understand our patient, their unique combination of symptoms, medical history and lifestyle. This helps to make a diagnosis of the causes of the pain or lack of function (rather than just addressing the site of the condition) and to formulate a treatment plan that will achieve the best outcome for the individual. Osteopaths frequently work alongside other health professionals, such as GPs, nurses and midwives as well as alternative medical practitioners. Osteopathy works well to complement other medical interventions including surgery and prescribed medication. Osteopathy is one of the safest and most effective forms of treatment for musculoskeletal pain. As well as being seen as back pain experts Osteopaths treat many problems. Things treated include:  (this list is not conclusive)• Back and neck pain• Nerve entrapments• Arthritis• Sciatica• Joint problems• Shoulder pain• Headaches• Jaw pain or clicking• Sports injuries• Muscular problems• Postural problems• Referred pain
