Louise Goodey and Andy Clayson are experienced Osteopaths who are registered with the General Osteopathic Council and fully insured.

We offer treatment for back pain and sciatica, neck pain and headaches, joint and muscle aches and pains, sports injuries, work related postural injuries and aches and pains associated with growing older.

We also provide treatments for pregnancy related postural pain e.g. pelvic girdle pain, aching legs, back pain, rib pain and many more, as well as for postnatal mums experiencing aches and pains.

We offer gentle osteopathic treatment for babies and children.

Osteopathic treatment can be both helpful and soothing for babies with unsettled behavior and other minor conditions of early life.

Would you like to learn how to massage your baby with techniques that can help sooth some of the common baby problems e.g. digestive problems, teething, nasal congestion?  We offer baby massage classes for both group and one to one sessions. Our instructor is certified by the IAIM (International Association of Infant Massage). Our classes are friendly and fun, offering a unique opportunity for you to enhance your bond with your baby through nurturing touch.

A very professional and friendly service that I trust and would use again

5 50 Sciatica Treatment

Louise quickly and accurately diagnosed my severe sciatica problem and recommended a course of treatment and exercises that has left me pain-free and able to manage the symptoms should it recur. A very professional and friendly service that I trust and would use again.

He was very enthusiastic about the help he was given

4.5 50 Cranial Osteopathy

The appointment wasn't for me but my grandson, his wife and baby. They got on very well and have ongoing treatment for which they are very grateful.

The appointment was for their baby born in February and because they got on so well. My grandson booked an appointment for his back which was giving him trouble. He was very enthusiastic about the help he was given.

There has definitely been a great improvement

4 50 Osteopath Consultation

I have had previous, intermittent, osteopathy treatment but was unable to contact my previous osteopath, hence web search and finding the North Norfolk Clinic. Appointment and reception was easy and Louise allowed time to understand and note my problems. Mostly leg pain, enough to wake me during the night.

After the initial treatment by Louise, mostly massage, and some manipulation, I have had a further 3 sessions and another scheduled to be shortly before me joining an extended Levada walk in Madeira.

In addition to treatments, Louise encouraged me to do specific exercises. There has definitely been a great improvement but, allowing for age - 80+ - I expect to continue occasional sessions with Louise.

Excellent treatment received

5 50 Osteopath Consultation

I have Joint Hypermobility Syndrome and went along with very sore hip and wrist and very tight shoulder and neck. Louise evaluated me and decided on a course of treatment. After one treatment my wrist was pain free and mobile again. I had three treatments in total and my hip is now pain free and my neck and shoulder are much looser.

Louise is very approachable and friendly and an excellent osteopath. I have every confidence in her and will return regularly for maintenance of my condition.

of all levels and ability.

At North Norfolk Osteopaths we are specialists in the treatment of sporting injuries.  We aim to reduce the impact of sporting injuries by supporting sports people and athletes through providing excellence in diagnosis and treatment.  We also place emphasis on rehabilitation and promoting education to reduce the likelihood of future injuries.

We also offer Kinesio taping where appropriate, as part of the overall treatment or in isolation where the patient has been seen previously and assessed.

Kinesio taping is a sports taping method which can assist in the healing of traumatised tissue and muscles. Standard taping techniques, such as athletic taping and s

trapping do provide muscle and joint support, however they reduce range of motion, do not support the fascia and in some cases inhibit the actual healing process of traumatised tissue.

Back Pain Treatment

Back Pain Treatment - North Norfolk OsteopathsBack Pain Treatment - North Norfolk Osteopaths

Over 60% of the UK’s population experience back pain or pain related to the back, at some stage in their lives.

A problem in your back may be

causing you back ache, shooting pains, cramps, stiffness or an inability to stretch out. However, problems in your back can also cause pain in other more remote areas such as the buttocks, groin, hips, and legs (known as sciatica). Problems in the back and neck can also cause symptoms such as dizziness, headaches, clicking jaw and pins and needles.

Research has shown that back pain is significantly reduced after osteopathic treatment and that the benefits can last for several months.

NICE (the National Institute of Clinical Excellence) guidelines recommend manipulative therapies including osteopathy for the treatment of low back pain.

At North Norfolk Osteopaths our experienced Osteopaths offer a range of treatments tailored to the individual patient. These include gentle manipulations, soft tissue massage, joint articulation and stretching of muscles, to give relief from pain and improve the function.
