Cranial Osteopathy  
Cranial Osteopathy is a refined and subtle type of osteopathic treatment that uses very gentle manipulative pressure to encourage the release of stresses and strains throughout the body. The skilled osteopath has a finely developed sense of touch feeling subtle movement within the body. It is extremely effective in treating a wide range of conditions in people of all ages, from birth to old age. Cranial osteopathy does not treat the conditions itself however looks at and addresses the individuals stresses and strains throughout the body to reduce symptoms.
Osteopath Consultation  
Osteopaths consider each person as an individual and look at the whole body to acquire a good assessment to identify both the injury and its cause. The first visit at our clinics in NW3 & NW8 will involve: •A detailed case history, including present and past histories, lifestyle and diet. NW3.A detailed mechanical examination and when appropriate, a variety of medical screening methods. To do this the Osteopath will normally ask you to undress to your underwear.•Clinical evaluation and diagnosis, NW3.•Explanation of the findings and the diagnosis together with the agreed treatment plan, NW3•The patient is encouraged to ask questions throughout the treatment if they are unsure of the procedure. I needed some quite urgent treatment on a sore instep before a trip to New York and had a couple of quick appointments with Physio For Life which was highly recommended by my son. The senior Physio I saw, Nathan Arnold was very good and patient as I explained a lot of my recent medical history which had a bearing on my condition. I felt everything was checked out thoroughly from a medical point of view and I received very good treatment which enabled me to cope with the many miles I covered whilst in New York. I chose this clinic on the recommendation of my son who had treatment and had also had a few massages there before & always received very good and courteous treatment.

Maria explains the problem to you, tells you in detail how the treatment session will work. Maria is very friendly and makes it a comfortable place to have treatment. Would highly recommend!
