Following an accident in the mid-1990s I have had back and neck problems which have slowly worsened over the years, culminating in little flexibility and constant stiffness. I visited ACC for an initial consultation in March 2024 and had the first of an agreed series of treatments in early April. Results already show an improvement and the dull ache in the neck and shoulders has already greatly reduced. Communication, based on clear, straightforward explanations, has been excellent from all at the clinic, not just the practitioners but the administrative staff too. Five more sessions to go and I am looking forward to the results.

So, I want to thank Mr. Don Lee who helped me with my knee rehab. I was trying to get back on my feet (no pun intended) after my left leg had been in a cast for 6 weeks. As anyone would know, my leg had atrophied and was very weak. Originally, I went to a local orthopedic hospital where it had a rehab center. I am sure this doesn't explain for all hospital rehab centers, but the one I went to, the therapist made me do exercises that seemed a bit overwhelming for the muscle strength that I had on my knee. After over a month, it wasn't improving very much and the therapist was asking about exercises that he had never assigned to me. So, I decided to change, and I had an experience with my shoulder awhile back at Create Wellness and decided to inquire here again. This place is definitely the place to go with very professional and knowledgeable therapists who know what kind of exercises to assign to you. Don was the only person who knew of rehab from a fractured bone like mine. He started off with simple exercises that were manageable at the condition I was in but which strengthened or relaxed my muscles at appropriate areas. I did 25 min. sessions once a week and learned new exercises each time and went home to practice them. I would explain to him where and if there was pain and he knew exactly how to relieve them or to strengthen a particular muscle. He seems to do constant research about how the muscles work together and explains why we are doing certain exercises. He builds on different exercises so that I can progress with more strength each time. It was a variety of strengthening and relaxing my muscles at different times. He worked with me for several months now and I am now around 95% of before having my cast. Don is very patient and passionate in helping his patients, and I would highly recommend him to anyone if they need rehab and would go back to him if I had any other recovery issues.
