Cancer screening is a way for us to look for signs of cancer before you have any symptoms. The goal isn’t to worry you—it’s to catch potential problems early, when they’re usually much easier to treat and the chances of a good outcome are highest. Different screenings check for different types of cancer. For example, mammograms look for breast cancer, colonoscopies and stool tests check for colon cancer, Pap tests and HPV tests screen for cervical cancer, and low-dose CT scans can help detect lung cancer in people at higher risk. We choose the right tests for you based on your age, medical history, and personal risk factors. Screening doesn’t mean we expect something to be wrong. Think of it as part of keeping you healthy—just like checking your blood pressure or cholesterol. Most screening results come back completely normal, and if something does show up, we’ll talk through it together and decide the next steps. I underwent cosmetic treatment at Florence Nightingale Istanbul using the Turkish Health Ministry’s official online directory. The surgical team, support staff, hospital facilities and concierge services were world-class. I was able to consult directly with the surgeon from Australia with the assistance of the hospital’s international rep (Alişer Durdiyev) via WhatsApp. Everything was arranged for me from hotel bookings to transfers, medications and follow up appointments during my stay in Instanbul. My procedures were recommended and performed by Dr Ahmet Umut Yuvaci, who was fantastic. Florence Nightingale is a first-class private hospital with exceptional patient care. It was money well invested. I had direct phone contact with Dr Ahmet and the patient support team throughout my stay to manage the admission to recovery.

But from the start of the treatment until the last day everything went smoothly. Thanks to the amazing staff and doctors of Fizikon and specially Inci of PMC. I am truly thankful I came across PMC. Inci made it sure that everything was well taken cared of from hotel bookings, airport pick-up/drop-off and coordination in the clinic.
