Also known as 'colon hydro therapy' or 'Colonics' Today’s way of living can overburden our colons and as a result the bodys'  waste product ( stools) isn’t managed as  efficiently as one would like. Over time waste, toxins and gases build up, contributing to a multitude of symptoms and conditions. Cleaning the colon regularly can benefit the whole body and give you a greater sense of wellbeing.  Evidence? There is a school of thought, derived from Ayurveda (the ancient Indian holistic health system) which hold that the colon will be prone to the effects of anxiety. In Ayurveda, bastis ( the ayurvedic term for enemas) could be indicated for people with anxiety (obviously based on a proper consultation). My experience with some folk with IBS is that anxiety may feature as a symptom, as can depression not clinical depression which is a clinical term) Drawing from that insight, Colon hydro- therapists do find that mood change is often found as appositive byproduct from colonics.  Evidence? Deep Tissue Massage    £45.00 (60 min) / £65 (90 min) / £85 (2 hrs) Deep Tissue Massage is designed to work on deeper muscles and connective tissue and works on chronic pain, muscle tension and spasm, including after physical exercise, and repetitive strain injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome.   Massage therapists may use fingertips, knuckles, hands, elbows, and forearms during the deep tissue massage.  You may be asked to breathe deeply as the massage therapist works on certain tense areas.
