Rating from 3 Reviews Just that it's worth it! Definitely one to tryLucia, Ireland, 19 Oct 13

I have been coming to this hair & beauty since it opened. Firstly because it's handy to pop out to from work but now because they are the best salon I've been to. I've been dying my hair for the last 20 years and have been 'around the hairdressers block'! They use Avenda products and my hair has thanked me for it. My hair used to be constantly dry and frizzy. The girls here have completely changed that for me. Since coming here my hair looks in good condition all the time, not just after a blow-dry but all the time. They changed my colour too and it suits me better. They listen to what I want and colour it or cut it to my (with their approval and tweak) choice. Can't say enough good things. Just that it's worth it! Definitely one to try.

Your Own Best Self Holistic Practice - Holistic Health Clinic in Ireland

Your Own Best Self Holistic Practice

4, Rosedale Terrace, Clanbrassil street lower, Dublin, 00000
My journey towards becoming a holistic practitioner started in France in 2002, when I discovered Reiki while seeking ways to relieve back pain after a horse riding accident. Having experienced such a drastic effect after my first treatment, not only on my physical pain but also on my mood and energy at a time of my life when I was feeling really low, I decided straight away to become attuned, so I could practice it on myself, friends and family. My second step in the field of holistic therapies took place a couple of years later, in 2005, after my work in the horse racing industry had brought me over to Ireland. Again by a weird turn of events, it is through my dedication for horses that I stumbled into a massage course. Seeking to improve my knowledge in biology to be dealing better with horses and not having found any training directly related to them, I had settled for a human anatomy and physiology course, which was coupled with Holistic Massage. Little did I know that it was about to change my life and career. The first time I held my hands on someone’s back to do massage, I was hooked. I finished the training as a Holistic Massage therapist, and qualified with ITEC then the year after studied reflexology  (ITEC) and Aromatherapy (VTCT). I slowly gave up working in the horse industry to focus on my holistic practice, and along the years extended the range of treatments that I offer. In the recent years I have become aware of the phenomenal role that our sub

Healing Amulet Bodywork Clinic

111 Baggot Street Dublin, Ireland, red door between O'Briends and Olive Green, Dublin
Rating from 1 Review Very focused on her patientsLaura, Ireland, 27 Oct 14

I have been going to Andrea for a range of treatments (massage, Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Thai, Swedish and dry massage) for several years and she is fantastic. I can suffer from skin inflammations (excema) and sinusitis every few months and whenever I go into Andrea for a treatment, my symptoms are alleviated significantly and a few days later, everything is a lot better. Andrea creates a very relaxing and meditative environment and you forget about all your stresses and worries for the duration of the treatment and this feeling lasts beyond the treatment as well. She is very focused on her patients and makes sure that she sits down with you before she begins, to talk to you about what is going on, where the tensions in your body are and exactly what you want from the treatment. She is excellent at what she does and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone. I have sent lots of friends and family along to Andrea and got a few vouchers from her last year as Christmas presents which were gratefully received by people! She is also a innovative business woman and has built her business from scratch on hard work and her reputation which I greatly respect. I would definitely encourage anyone to go to Andrea for holistic massage, healing and also for a great sports massage.

Mandala Holistic Therapies - Massage Clinic in Ireland

Mandala Holistic Therapies

Dublin Holistic Centre, 28 South William St., Dublin 2
My interest in complementary therapies began in my teenage years as I was blessed come from a family of successful holistic practitioners and teachers and would often help out on courses, learning the techniques myself in the process. During my time in university studying Health and Society I took a number of massage courses to become a fully qualified practitioner and haven't looked back since. I have found that the integration of massage and complementary treatments into peoples busy lives is an integral and powerful tool for maintaining balance and keeping stress at bay. I have been involved in setting up healing spaces at festivals and events, and recently helped set up a beautiful treatment room in the Fumbally Stables in Dublin 8, which is used by a dynamic team of holistic practitioners. My work in this field has lead me to working with vulnerable people in the community such as those with intellectual and physical disabilities, mental health issues and addiction. I have found that the response from these clients to gentle, loving massage has been transformational to the way I work. By using intuition and a slow approach with those who are challenged with verbal or physical communication, I feel that my intuition with every client has become stronger and I have learnt to ‘listen with my hands’ to tailor treatments for each persons needs.  I completed most of my training through the London Centre of Indian Champissage and I specialise in Ayurvedic treatments which in
