Massage €10 - €80
Chinese massage is a form of therapy, which involves applying structured therapy to the soft tissues of the body or successively to the whole body. Chinese massage can be used to heal injury, relieve stress, manage pain and improve circulation. Chinese Massage can also be used to manipulate acupuncture points to lose weight, clear congestion, ease digestion problems and calm anxiety. Sessions typically last anything from 20 – 45 minutes and pricing is directly correlated to time.
Reflexology up to €40
Reflexology is a gentle non-invasive therapy based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears that correspond to every organ gland and system in the body. By stimulating these reflexes, reflexology encourages deep healing and tranquil relaxation. This therapy is particularly beneficial for joint mobilisation, migraine, sinus, digestion, back problems and stress related conditions as it discharges negativity and stimulates the body’s own immune system for self-healing. It can also enhance general well-being so why not book yourself a treat and pop into your local Care Cure Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine for a soothing reflexology session. Sessions typically last about 35 minutes and prices vary with time allowed for treatment.
Acupressure €10 - €40
Acupressure is a good alternative for anyone suffering from a phobia of needles as it follows the same principle as acupuncture. It works by stimulating the same acupuncture points on the surface of the body but instead of using needles, the practitioner will apply pressure with the hands. Acupressure is an effective method of improving blood circulation and repairing tissue damage throughout the body. Via nerve stimulation acupressure can induce relaxation and improve skin tone, ease tension in muscles and joints, repair facial lymph damage and generally tone the body. For this reason it is often used as a facial beauty therapy. Acupressure has also seen considerable success in curing insomnia, lessening fatigue and dispelling back and joint pain.

Her approach to massage is very holistic and I have no hesitation giving her a 5 star review. Maria doesn’t just massage your body, she massages your soul! She is exceptionally kind, warm and caring, not to mention strong. You can tell that Maria takes pride in every aspect of her treatment. The clinic is welcoming, warm, tidy and clean. I couldn’t fault it. I was also impressed with how beautifully her vouchers are presented.

Hydrotherapy €60 - €70
Hydrotherapy entails whole body exercises that take place in our state of the art 34°C warm water pool. The warm temperature of the water allows your muscles to relax and eases the pain and stiffness, making it easier to exercise. Hydrotherapy can relieve painful joints, increase the range of movement in your joints and improve your muscle strength. At Kiltipper Woods our hydrotherapy pool contains an underwater treadmill, resistance jets, and massage wand. The power resistance jets provide resistance for a range of motion exercises, improving the patient’s cardiovascular stamina. The wand offers patients the ability to massage and loosen muscles. The pool is easily accessible to suit all patients and can be accessed by patients in wheelchairs. It is also important to note that you do not have to be able to swim to benefit from aquatic therapy. All our hydrotherapy sessions are conducted by chartered physiotherapists who are highly trained and experienced in hydrotherapy. Hydrotherapy sessions can take place in a group setting or on a one to one basis. At Kiltipper Woods we use a Swimex 1000-T hydrotherapy pool that is fully equipped with laminar water current technology which your therapist uses to optimise the intensity of your workout. The pool also utilises an integrated underwater treadmill in tandem with the water current technology and is the only pool of its kind in Ireland.Hydrotherapy is the safest and most progressive form of rehabilitation because it takes place in a gravity neutral environment, thus decreasing impact and trauma on weight bearing joints during rehabilitation. The simulated weightlessness allows treatment to begin earlier and more safely, thereby accelerating the healing process. Our hydrotherapy programmes are conducted by chartered physiotherapists, who are highly trained in hydrotherapy. Rating from 1 Review She was very hands-on releasing the pain instantlyAnnelie, Ireland, 13 Sep 17

I attended Archview Physiotherapy after pulling my back and neck. I was in a lot of pain and needed physio and was seen by Carol. She was very hands-on releasing the pain instantly with some dry needling and lots of massages. She gave me some exercises to do and I returned for another few sessions until all the pain was gone. I thought Archview Physio was extremely professional. I also booked in for a few full body massages and couldn't rate the therapists enough. I felt so relaxed afterward. I would totally recommend this clinic. Very high standard. Very positive experience - I will return and refer if needs be.
