Egg Donor  
The Dorset Fertility service does not offer egg donation however we have regularly helped in the monitoring of egg recipients, ensuring that their womb lining (endometrium) is of an appropriate thickness for that part of the treatment cycle. There is a wealth of experience at Dorset Fertility and therefore most units are happy for their egg recipients to have some scans there to avoid the necessity of a long journey to the treating centre for monitoring. Decisions regarding timing and change of medication will always rest with the treating centre. Usually the scans can only be done on a private basis for a modest fee.

My treatment at Manchester Fertility was amazing from start to finish. Never did I dream of becoming a mother since I turned 40, words can not express how incredibly grateful I am to all of the team there for making my dreams of becoming a mother come true. The service and support I was afforded was fantastic. Their pricing was slightly cheaper than my first choice clinic (as my first choice was closer to my home) but I didn't have time to wait as I needed treatment with donor eggs which Manchester Fertility could provide straight away. Everyone I met was lovely; Doctors, Nurses, Ward Staff, Receptionists and Admin staff ... all wonderful! I am so glad that I chose Manchester Fertility to help me on my journey to becoming a mum and I will always be grateful to the egg donor to have given the gift of life.
