Got what I hoped for from the sessionAnge, Ireland, 06 03 20

The assessment was very thorough. Got what I hoped for from the session. I wish I had known about Bergin Services earlier. I’ve spent a lot of money on therapy sessions and still didn’t get to the stage I got to all in one session with Mr Powers. Thank you!

Weight Loss Consultation
“If you are currently trying to lose weight, then do your mind and body a favour and throw away the weighing scales. It’s not empowering and it does not create motivation and it does not keep you on track. In fact it makes you a prisoner in your own body. Instead lets Reshape your mind and you will naturally reshape your body. Hypnosis is the ideal tool with which to change the shape of your mind and body. Hypnosis Uses your emotional intelligence. It enables you to derive pleasure from eating less. With the help of your hypnotherapy programme you will be amazed at the ease with which you lose weight. My hypnotic suggestions will help you to derive pleasure from eating less food. With this programme you are encouraged to reduce the quantity of everything, but to cut out nothing. In other word you can still have your treats, just not as often. During your 12 week programme you will learn how to respond to hunger signals and begin to understand the difference between ‘needing food’ and ‘wanting to Eat’. There is no avoiding the fact that exercise is a vital part of losing weight. I will teach you how to have a naturally motivated ability to perform regular gentle fitness which will fit into your busy life. Remember YOU DO NOT NEED STRONG WILLPOWER Willpower (or conscious determination) is one thing, but because it only uses one part of the mind, its effects are all temporary. Hypnosis operates at the sub-conscious level and uses all of your senses, which is the very foundation of emotional intelligence. This allows you to lose your unwanted weight without dieting and stop obsessing about food.

Birthmother Support & Psychotherapy - Psychotherapy Clinic in Ireland

Birthmother Support & Psychotherapy

16 Harcourt Street, c/o The Centre for Professional Therapy, Dublin, 2
I am a qualified Psychotherapist & Supervisor. I worked in Barnardos Post Adoption Service as a volunteer counsellor and have extended experience in working with birth mothers. I provide general support, short and long-term Counselling & Psychotherapy for birthmothers, birthfathers and birth siblings. Birth mothers The bonding process for the birth mother, who carried the baby inside her during pregnancy and experienced the miracle of birth with this baby, had not been previously acknowledged in society at large or by the professionals working in adoption and mental health. Adoption relinquishment involves a grief process not unlike other types of grief such as death or separation. Sometimes the secrecy, shame, guilt, self-blame, feelings of selfishness and loss leave scars on birth mothers' self-esteem. Birth parents may struggle as they re-evaluate their decisions later in life. Birth parents might feel incapable of making decisions, feel unlovable, or feel unable to handle having another child. At such moments, they need to realize that they made the decision at a particular time and place, perhaps as a vulnerable teenager without adult skills or resources. Restoring self-esteem is an ongoing process. How I work I believe that thinking & talking about the concerns you have with a trained psychotherapist can help you to start address those general concerns, confusing emotions or anxieties related to the adoption, tracing a
