Ursula Brooks, our Clinical Manager, is currently the team Physiotherapist for the FAI Senior Women's Squad and also with The Irish Amateur Boxing Association (IABA) International Teams. Barry Solan, our Strength and Conditioning Coach is currently working as a Strength and Conditioning Consultant with a number of teams and athletes while also advising numerous sporting clubs on gym facility design and is an associate lecturer in Sports Science at I.T. Tallaght, Dublin. He holds an honours degree in Sports Science.

The Endocrine and Metabolic Clinic at Medfit is led by Professor Carel le Roux, Consultant Metabolic Physician. Yoga and Pilates Classes can be used in conjunction with a healthy diet as an effective weight management regime.

Yoga and Pilates classes can help improve posture and issues with the spine and skeleton.  When chosing a class opt for a style that works carefully on alignment, such as Iyengar yoga, and includes some core strengthening work such as pilates.  All our Fusion classes in our Blackrock Studio include core work, and our Saturday morning yoga class is specifically oriented towards correct alignment in postures.
