Poldent was the only place that welcomed me to get an x-ray done so I could send it to my dentist I couldn’t visit at the time due to covid restrictions, it was very important for her to see whether my condition was getting better or not. They only took few days to see me which was just fantastic and didn’t try to make me believe I now have to be their patient for any reason. All the staff was very kind and I will definitely come back in the future as a new patient. Thank you so much!

I had a complete checkup with Emily at the Skipton practice. This included x-rays to check all my teeth. My gums were also checked. As I had a broken tooth, this was filled temporarily to determine what further treatment would follow. I was given an estimate of the possible cost of the necessary treatment. The list is a little confusing, but I can ring for clarification. Overall my visit was a good experience. All the staff were welcoming and friendly.

I have had composite bonding done to most of my lower teeth and two of the upper canine teeth. The bottom teeth were worn and my normal yellowy colour and the two upper teeth had acquired a grey tinge. I am absolutely thrilled about the bonding work done. The colour matches in with my existing lighter-coloured crowns and my whole ‘smile’ looks clean, bright and healthy. There is no ‘dentures-look’ with just a straight line of teeth, as you can find with some cosmetic dentistry, as each tooth has been shaped to look natural and then all polished up. I have to say this dentist is one of the best dentists I have ever visited and I’m so scared of going to the dentist, but every time I visit I feel at ease. I suffer from anxiety (but honestly the dentist Dr Aileen Shum) is so lovely and genuine. She listens to you and is so kind and reassuring and would do anything to help you relax.

Had some thread veins removed on my face and I was very happy with the results. Gemma is a lovely lady who made me feel so relaxed will defo be returning in the future and recomend Gemma 100%. 🙂

Fabulous staff- only found the team 2 years ago. But as time went on I’ve brought the whole family inc grandad. These guys are spot on and love them very much as real and not false fat lip fancy smiles. They are real Dentists. Old dentist I thought was ok, but when I came here everything made sense. The old dentist was make do and mend, maybe as I was on denplan so all they wanted was the monthly money and us all out of the door. The effect was like putting a plaster on it, but not treating the issue. The team here look at all angles from repair / long term fix and real whitening and straightening. I personally came with bad teeth, but now I know they will outlive me.
