I have had a range of treatments: an extraction, fillings, teeth whitening and a Ceroc crown replacement. Every treatment was done with attention to detail, brisk efficiency and a clear awareness of all the latest developments in dental hygiene and treatment. The teeth whitening was particularly successful and made a huge difference to my self-confidence. I haven't stopped smiling since!
Yes, the treatment is privately done and you have to pay. It certainly isn't cheap but is competitive with other similar establishments and much less than I spend on my car!
I have never really enjoyed going to the Dentist after bad experiences as a child and having regular, quite invasive, treatment as an adult. I first met Dr. Milarvie when she carried out an emergency procedure requiring tooth extraction and I was delighted with her skill and desire to share details of my treatment with me. More importantly, she and Mandy really did their best to put me at ease and I felt genuinely cared for and looked after. Despite her tiny frame, Dr. Milarvie is a powerhouse and works quickly and neatly, keen to avoid any pain and to minimize discomfort. I am very pleased with the focus on dental hygiene and the advice given verbally and in the regular newsletters we're sent. I have recommended the practice to friends and the fact that I no longer fear dental treatment really does make a difference to me.
