Veneers can be directly applied to teeth or indirectly made by a dental laboratory. Veneers require little or no tooth preparation. At Deddington Dental we can make a mock wax up of your teeth to show you the design of the teeth and end result. Direct VeneersThese are usually made from a composite material that is directly bonded to your tooth. These are then polished. At Deddington Dental we use the latest composite materials to make the veneers appear natural. Indirect/Lab Made VeneersThese are custom made in a laboratory. The teeth usually require little or no preparation. Moulds of your mouth are taken after preparation. These are then sent to a local private laboratory with directions of the shape and shade required (shade is predetermined in the lab with the help of the patient). Temporary veneers are placed for 2 weeks. Once made – the final veneers are tried in and cemented onto the teeth.
