Update 14/01/2026
I have since been removed from the practice register without any prior communication or notification. From my perspective, this reflects very poor administrative handling of the situation. At no stage do I feel that responsibility was taken for the errors that occurred, and as a result, I have escalated the matter.
My experience with this practice has been extremely poor. I was given an extraction appointment scheduled for 9 January 2026, only to be informed a few days beforehand that the appointment should never have been booked, as there was no valid NHS referral in place. The practice failed to identify the need for a referral at the time of booking and later cancelled the appointment at short notice once this mistake was discovered.
This was not a minor inconvenience. I was experiencing ongoing pain and had believed that appropriate treatment had been arranged. It was distressing to later discover that the required referral had not even been made. This error caused unnecessary delay, stress, and disruption to my personal arrangements.
Although the referral has since been redirected elsewhere, the delay was entirely avoidable and, based on my experience, resulted solely from administrative failures within the practice.
While the error itself was acknowledged by the practice leadership, the impact on my care has been significant. Based on what I experienced, I would not recommend this practice and would strongly advise others to exercise caution when relying on it for NHS referrals and appointment scheduling.
