Dr. Ian Crutchley offers a comprehensive service to all his patients in a relaxed friendly enviroment. We prefer to take a whole mouth approach, taking the best bits of all treatments that are going to get you the best results, & letting the patient be guided by information. Treatment is only provided with your full understanding of our proposals, and we explain things in plain English. Common sense and information are hard to beat! One of Ian's particular interests is the provision of an orthopaedic approach to his orthodontic treatment, trying where possible to avoid extracting healthy teeth, and instead developing the jaws to accomodate the teeth nature intended. He has a particular interest in treating Skeletal Class 3 cases without the need for surgery, and has had many successful instances of this type of treatment. So if you have been told surgery is your only option, that may not be the case, and the younger this type of treatment is started, the better the outcome.
