I’ve had reason to visit Yew Tree Dental Practice many times over the last number of years and for various treatments (crowns, fillings, extractions and dentures).

As a “terrified” patient, it’s an experience I would normally dread but on each occasion, I have left the appointment in awe of how reasonably calm I’ve been and how much at ease I’ve been made thanks to the reassuring and caring way I’ve been dealt with, not to mention the wonderful dental treatment I’ve had.

In particular, I’ve been lucky enough to have been under Michelle’s care. It’s not everyday you come across a professional who is outstanding in every aspect, i.e. excellent at their job, truly caring in their approach, efficient yet calm and understanding and certainly not out to rip you off. The nursing and administrative staff are equally excellent.

I cannot rate the practice highly enough and I would certainly highly recommend their service as truly 5*.

Chris and the hygienist were very friendly and good humoured. They answered any queries I had no problem. I was told by a dentist in the Republic that I needed a crown for 700 euro. At the Yew Tree, a proper filling was put in instead, saving me a lot of money! I also got a filling on my front tooth redone that always stained and discoloured. You now wouldn't even know that there was a filling there! I had a consultation, an xray and 2 fillings all for 160 euro! Professional work done properly at a really reasonable price. Definitely coming back.

Dr Kathryn Charleton is the best dentist I have ever been to. In 46 years visiting numerous dentists, and across various countries, I have never had such a pain-free dentist experience. She numbed my cheek and gum with a local anaesthetic on a cotton wool pad before gently injecting my gum with anaesthetic, and I never even felt the needle go in or anything else for that matter which is highly unusual.

With other dentists, I would feel the needle go in and also the sting when the anaesthetic was injected, which is highly unpleasant to say the least, but with her I felt absolutely nothing. She performed a root canal on a molar with difficult curved canals, which is most people's worst nightmare. However, with Dr Charleton, this was the easiest procedure I have ever had and I can assure anyone who is afraid of dentists (as I usually am), you have absolutely nothing to be anxious about. Her assistant nurse Tara is also a gem. I travelled over 3hrs (round trip) to see Dr Charleton and I am going back again for more treatment, which may give you some indication of what a fantastic dentist she is. The fees are very reasonable, all the staff and receptionists are friendly and very professional.

I would give this practice and Dr Charleton a hundred-star rating if I could, and I am usually very conservative with any praise. So if you are looking for a dentist and practice that really is outstanding, I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I would like to take this opportunity in thanking Yvonne, the dentist, for the care she took with me today. It is so lovely to meet someone that is so pleasant and is a credit to her profession. I had three Crowns and a Bridge done. I'm delighted with the result. The staff is so friendly, and helpful.I was totally relaxed, and pain free .I recommend Yew Tree for sure!!!

I have to say it was a great experience at Yew Tree Dental. I went for a checkup as my previous dentist had suggested I needed 5 crowns. I will end up getting 2 fillings and my teeth will be good again.

Lovely welcoming receptionist to an absolute gentleman of a dentist. The lovely bright waiting and treatment room I was in was nicely decorated. It's very easy to find the clinic and it's centrally located.

I received Root canal treatment from Yew tree dental.. It was done in no time and I was well numbed and didn't feel a thing. The dentist was very nice and I was at ease as I'm usually quite tense at the dentist!

It is a Very professional practice. The building and interior are a lovely clean modern practice with a car park at the rear. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Would highly recommend Yew tree dental.

The price I was quoted across the phone was reduced upon appointment. Very satisfied with the work.

What I loved was where it was, as it was so easy to find and had its own car park at the back. Then I went in to meet the very charming reception staff who were very helpful. I got to see the dentist without any delay. The dentist was very efficient while at the same time always concious to make sure I was comfortable. I was dealt with in a professional manner all in all it was a good experience and I will definitely go back there if needed. Oh and most important the price was great. I have also reccomended them to my friends
