Dr. Violetta Szycik – Founder and President of Vivadental

Dr. Violetta Szycik is a pioneer of dental implantology in Poland with over 25 years of clinical experience. She graduated from the Medical Academy in Gdańsk, holds first- and second-degree specializations in dental surgery, and earned a doctoral degree in implantology. She has conducted numerous groundbreaking implantological procedures in Poland and Europe, including full-arch toothless maxilla and mandible implantations with immediate prosthetic reconstruction.

As a recognized leader in her field, Dr. Szycik holds the OSIS-EDI certificate – the Leader of Implantological Skills – confirming her top qualifications in dental implantology, along with accreditation to conduct postgraduate training for dentists in implantology and related disciplines. For over a decade, she has been training dentists through her Practicum Implantology program, a hands-on course that allows participants to perform procedures on patients under expert supervision. To date, over 226 dentists have benefited from Vivadental’s educational programs.

Dr. Szycik leads the development of Vivadental by implementing state-of-the-art treatment protocols, innovative surgical solutions, and advanced technologies. She collaborates with elite researchers and clinicians worldwide, contributing to the advancement of modern dentistry.

Her extensive experience also includes 30 years in academic teaching, having served as assistant and associate professor at the Chair and Clinic of Maxillofacial and Dental Surgery at the Medical Academy in Gdańsk. She has trained students, postgraduates, and specialist interns in clinical practice, surgical procedures, and prosthetics.

Beyond clinical practice and education, Dr. Szycik is an accomplished entrepreneur and manager. She founded the POLDENT Private Dental Centre (1991) and the Central European Osseointegration Centre – Vivadental Clinic of Dental Implantology (2006), where she continues to serve as President. She has extensive experience managing both public and private medical institutions and commercial companies.

Dr. Szycik is also deeply committed to social responsibility. She is the President of the Vivadental Foundation for Children, providing care and support for over 200 children in need, including those in special education centers, orphanages, hospices, and war-affected families from Eastern Ukraine.

In addition, she actively participates in interdisciplinary innovation projects, such as Long Healthy Life, focused on prevention, diagnostics, and therapy of chronic and age-related conditions, integrating medical technology with societal benefits. Her work bridges clinical excellence, education, innovation, and social impact, making her one of the most influential figures in modern dentistry in Poland and Central Europe.
