Bone Graft

Bone has a unique capacity to regenerate itself completely. Bone graft materials are used to facilitate bone formation within a given space by occupying that space and allowing bone growth to take place. They help maintain space under a barrier membrane for bone formation to occur.

WISDOM TEETH REMOVAL

Third molars or wisdom teeth are the last set of teeth to erupt. What is the process of Wisdom Teeth Extraction?

A wisdom tooth extraction is usually an outpatient procedure. The procedure can be simple or complicated depending on the position and the type of eruption of the wisdom teeth. Some cases may require a surgical approach that involves making an incision in the gums and removing bone to extract the tooth.

Teeth Cleaning

A procedure done for the teeth cleaning. It removes tartar and plaque build-up from the surfaces of the teeth as well as those hidden in between and under the gums. The dentist uses a scaler, a type of hand instrument, to remove the plaque and tartar.

Procedure

The denture making process takes a few weeks and several appointments. Once your dentist determines what type and design of denture is best for you, the treatment starts with a series of impressions of the upper and lower jaw, registration of the bite, and facial measurements.

Models of your teeth are made to subsequently form the shape and position of the future denture using wax. Several trial fittings will be done with this model and the denture will be assessed for the color of the artificial teeth, shape, and fit before the final denture is processed.

Post Treatment

IN-OFFICE WHITENING

In-office whitening involves the careful and controlled application of a relatively high-concentration peroxide gel (15% to 43% peroxide) on your teeth at 15-20 minute intervals. The peroxide is activated using a special light that intensifies and speeds up the whitening process. The entire process can last up to 2 hours.

Having your teeth whitened by a dentist at the clinic ensures that the entire procedure will be safely and correctly performed.

Before the procedure, the dentist ensures that your oral tissues will be adequately protected during the entire whitening process. A special cheek retractor is used to open your mouth and protect your lips. A special gingival barrier will also be cured onto your gums to protect it from the peroxide solution and from the light. During the entire process, a high vacuum suction will be used to reduce accidental ingestion of the whitening solution.

In-office whitening can produce dramatic results. Whitening can be achieved faster and results can be seen immediately after the appointment. Results vary from person to person. Usually, teeth will be 2 to 8 shades lighter after the procedure.

Patients with stubborn staining may be advised to return for one or more additional bleaching sessions or may be asked to continue with a take-home whitening system.
