I have been attending Crown Dental for over a year for general dentistry care, and most recently, the fitting of a Post and Core and Crown, under the excellent professional care of Dr. Erika, Principal Dentist. Dr Erika is very thorough, meticulous and experienced, and explains each stage of the treatment at each visit, having first carried out a detailed examination and explaining the treatment required. Her primary focus is on conservation and restoring the health and functioning of the teeth at minimum cost, and does not suggest unnecessary additional treatment. She uses high quality and health compatible materials. The clinic is equipped with sophisticated and high-tech technology. The clinic is bright and very hygienic, with extra Covid measures being adopted. Dr Erika's fees are very competitive. I highly recommend Dr Erika for her high quality, professional and caring treatment of patients.
Just brought my 9-year-old daughter to this clinic. Her first experience getting anaesthetic and her teeth pulled. Have to say, the dentist was a lovely gentleman and made her feel so safe. She didn't even flinch when she got the injection. Would recommend him. Very friendly, nice and clean clinic.
I had a filling re-done there, it was a deep filling very close to the nerve and the Dr. and his assistant did a wonderful job. The clinic is clean modern and well equipped. I had no pain after the procedure and the mouth feel is perfect, no need to go back to adjust anything. He is truly an amazing professional and his practice is impeccable. I highly recommend this dental centre.
I have never been the bravest patient [not even close, truth be told]. So when I first arrived in Dr Eithne McKenna’s surgery I was as nervous as a kitten. And now, a few visits later, I behave just like any normal cat, practically falling asleep on the chair. Eithne is calm, kind, considerate and understanding, so if you are of a nervous disposition, I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. She is also a perfectionist. I had to get a crown and as I sat having it fitted she looked at the crown in her hand as a jeweller would look at a wonderful piece of jewellery they just crafted. It started a conversation about precision and attention to detail in which she told that she works with one crown maker because ‘he knows exactly what I want. You don’t have to be a dentist to know, that’s exactly what you want in your dentist.
I would highly recommend this dental clinic! Am a big scaredy cat when it comes to going to the dentist and I found Patricia Buckley very understanding and calm in dealing with me! I got great treatment and never felt forced into getting work done on my teeth! I was always given good advice and because of her professionalism find myself going regularly for my 6 month checkups so thank you, Patricia Buckley!!!
I’m a nervous patient with gum disease. Due to Covid, it had been nearly a year since my last visit to the hygienist. I was expecting pain and discomfort and the usual lecture. Well, I was wrong.. Shauna, the hygienist, was amazing… I got pain-free but thoroughly clean and polished. The usual advice was delivered in sympathetic, non-hectoring tones. I’ll be back!
I have been attending this clinic for a very very long time, my sister's dentist couldn’t take me when I first came to Dublin and they suggested Brian. My sister's dentist was VERY expensive so I think I was lucky! From the first time I came here, I knew I was in good hands, many good hands, Brian, Lynne, Amie and now Clara. Calm and friendly, I have never had any pain or any nervousness about walking through that door, truly if you have had any bad experiences elsewhere (and I had the dreaded multi-extraction at 7 years old so I know what it’s like) please just start by talking to them, they will help you. I have had extractions (painless), fillings (no pain), root canals and crowns (only wallet pain 😂). I go several times a year now for cleaning and Lynne has promised me that she will keep me squeaky clean and fit while Brian waits patiently for one of his expert fillings to need touching up (no sign of it happening this last 10 years yet as long as I stay off the hard toffee addiction). I am so glad I started coming here all those years ago and will have many more to come (cleans that is, no more root canals hopefully)!
I began treatment in 2013 with Dr Mairtin Brennan. There were many visits and detailed examinations before the surgery began. Because of the loss of bone, I required a bone graft. Like another patient said this is a very involved process and very difficult work. It has to be so precise. I got 5 implants. They have created perfect stability and what Dr Brennan said was that one of his chief objectives was to create space in my mouth. This was done to great effect. I am not aware that the implants are there. It was worth all the measurements that had to be done. Everything has to be checked several times but it was worth it all in the end. A bone graft is heavy going but once it settled down I forgot about the process. I would highly recommend Dr Brennan and would advise anyone to pay him at least a visit. Investing in my teeth was one of the best decisions I ever made. Seven years of enjoying eating better, more confidence, and compared to what I had it was like going from a mini to a Rolls Royce.
