I chose Dr. Gadea in Costa Rica for dental implants because my Cousin has been her patient for many years and told me that he was the best. Dr. Gadea is very professional, detail oriented, has all the knowledge and uses the newest technology with his patients. The Office Coordinator, Assistant, and office staff are very personable. They were helpful and made me feel very comfortable. I am very thankful and pleased with all of them.
I have had a very good experience with this clinic. Right from the start Gabriel assured me he'd make sure everything went smoothly including transportation, a place to stay, back and forth to the clinic, pharmacy whatever was needed. He has definitely done that and quite a bit more. He's an awesome resource for figuring out what you want to do while you are in Costa Rica and even arranged a driver to my destination. The driver was a good guy as well. I'm happy that I went with this clinic. Gabriel definitely has your back. Dr. Heiner did quality work and he's a good guy as well. The clinical experience in a foreign country can be especially scary if you don't speak the language well so it was nice that they spoke English so we could communicate effectively about what was going on. The cost of treatment is very affordable even with the costs of the whole vacation figured in. Very straightforward with what the prices are for each procedure. I have been to Dr Heiner twice now and plan on a third time to finish the last few things I need and to bring my kids for them to get their dental work done as well. This clinic is a good choice if you are trying to figure out where to go.
I was very happy with my dealings with Star Dental Clinic. For connections out of their office I dealt almost entirely with Melissa (based in Seattle); for dealings in the Clinic I dealt with both the dental practitioners and their support staff. I found the facilities as good as any I have used at home in Canada, and better than some. Personnel were knowledgeable and friendly, treatment was conducted quickly and efficiently, everyone spoke English which compensated for my inability to speak Spanish. They run a highly professional operation. As a Canadian, the only hesitation I would have is with respect to currency exchange - I estimate I saved about $1,000.00 even after allowing for hotel, food and travel costs, and would have saved substantially more if I had needed more work done. Not only would I recommend Star Dental to others, but I actually did so - a friend of mine who needed more extensive dental work arranged to travel with me for his own treatment. I spoke with him the day before completing this review and I've been advised by him that he is also very happy with the service he has received. I now need a little more work but can't justify the cost of another trip to Costa Rica for it - I wish Star Dental was much closer. I would definitely go to them again.
