They contacted me, good
Angela, Canada19.07.2014
Great! Called me within 20 minutes and I made an appointment with them right away. I really appreciated the quick response as it caused me to choose their location. I was still getting calls from other dental offices up to 5 days later which became extremely frustrating as I had obviously made an appointment, 5 days later they should t even bother calling. So again really appreciated the quick response.

Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is a fixed appliance and is an excellent way to replace missing teeth, maintain facial shape, and prevent shifting of teeth.

Porcelain Bridge

Porcelain fixed bridges tend to be the most popular because of their resemblance to natural teeth. Fixed bridges consist of two crowns that go over two anchoring teeth, filling the gap created by one or more missing teeth. Dental bridges are highly durable and will last many years. However, they may need re-cementing or replacement due to normal wear and tear.

Dental Checkup

A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist, including x-ray examinations, oral cancer screenings, and check-ups on past dental procedures. Dental cleanings are performed in our office by registered dental hygienists. Your cleaning appointment will include scaling or root planing to remove tartar, polishing to remove stains and dental plaque, and fluoride treatment. You will also receive personal instruction on oral care and home maintenance. Our office also provides a selection of electric toothbrushes for sale should you wish to purchase one.

Dental Crowns

Porcelain Crown

A crown (or cap) is a covering that encases the entire tooth surface restoring it to its original shape and size, providing protection and strength that cannot be restored by fillings or other restorations alone. Although several types of crowns exist, porcelain are the most popular due to their strong resemblance to your natural teeth. Reasons for crowns include broken or fractured teeth, decay, broken or large fillings, root canalled teeth, or cosmetic purposes. Crowns last several years, though they may eventually need to be replaced.

Dental Implants

Using dental implants and state-of-the-art technology, our dentists will help you regain your ability to eat comfortably and smile confidently again. Implants enable us to replace missing teeth, providing a fixed solution to removable, partial or complete dentures. The implant procedure requires several visits over a number of months. Titanium posts are surgically placed into the jaw bone, acting as an artificial root. After the implant has integrated itself onto the bone, a natural-looking artificial tooth is then fitted to the post, providing a strong, stable, and durable solution that will last several years, with only occasional re-tightening or replacement.

Reasons for dental implants include:

• Replacing one or more missing teeth without effecting adjacent teeth
• Resolving join pain or bite problems caused by teeth shifting into missing tooth space
• Support a bridge or denture, making them more secure and comfortable
• Restoring a patients chewing and speech abilities, facial support, as well as a confident smile

Dental Sealant

Sealants are a thin, plastic-like coating applied to the deeply grooved surfaces of your teeth, creating smooth, easy to clean surfaces. Sealants are recommended anytime throughout the cavity-prone years of 6-16, are painless, and take only a few minutes to apply per tooth.

Dental X-Ray

Digital Dental X-Ray

Dental x-rays are a valuable diagnostic tool that provide information not visible to the naked eye. Dentists and dental hygienists use this information to safely and accurately detect hidden dental abnormalities and formulate an accurate treatment plan. Without these x-rays, many problem areas in your teeth may go undetected, including:

• Abscesses or Cysts

• Bone Loss
• Non-Cancerous and Cancerous Tumors
• Decay Below the Gum Line or Between Teeth
• Poor Tooth and Root Positions
• Developmental Abnormalities

Fluoride Therapy

Fluoride is a highly effective agent available to prevent tooth decay. This naturally occurring mineral is found in almost all foods and water in varying amounts. The benefits of fluoride for your teeth are well documented and supported by many health organizations. Fluoride helps prevent tooth decay by hardening the tooth enamel, and our staff may recommend a professional application of fluoride twice a year during regular check-ups to help keep your teeth strong. Fluoride alone will not prevent tooth decay, so remember to brush, floss, and see your dentist regularly!

Root canals

Root canal therapy is needed when the tooths nerve is affected by decay or infection. To save the tooth, the living tissue inside the tooth (pulp) and decay are removed. The subsequent space is filled with a special medicated material that will help restore the tooth to its full original function. Root canal treatments are highly successful and usually last a lifetime. However, a tooth may occasionally have to be re-treated due to new infections. Some cases may be referred to an endodontic specialist for treatment.

Sedation for dental treatments

Our office is pleased to offer sedation and general anesthetic capabilities in a surgical suite setting off-site.

Teeth Cleaning

Teeth Whitening

One of the first things people notice about you is your smile. We also know that a great smile can make a great impression. Tooth whitening is a simple, non-invasive dental treatment used to change the colour of your natural tooth enamel, improving the appearance of stained teeth. By far, the most popular method is using a home tooth whitening system that can dramatically whiten your smile. A custom plastic tray will be fabricated from moulds of your teeth. These trays, filled with a special whitening solution, can then be worn either twice a day for 30 minutes or overnight for a couple of weeks, depending on your desired whiteness. Some sensitivity is normal and will subsist over time.

Veneers

Veneers are thin porcelain facings that are bonded to the visible part of the teeth to improve the appearance or enhance the strength of the tooth structure and create a beautiful and attractive smile. Veneers could be done for cosmetic or therapeutic reasons. They can completely reshape your teeth and smile, and often can be alternatives to crowns and the ideal solution in treating several dental conditions. As with most dental restorations, veneers are not always permanent and may someday require replacement. With proper care and routine dental monitoring, these restorations may last several years before requiring touch-ups or replacements, providing you with a beautiful, long-lasting smile.
