What are Metal Braces?

Metal Braces are orthodontic appliances made of stainless steel or titanium. They are suitable for patients of all ages. They are the cheapest among braces and are considered the most effective. Once fitted, metal braces exert pressure on the tooth to move it to the correct position.  Orthodontists adjust the wires of metal braces at every appointment to make sure that the tooth moves correctly. The orthodontist will polish the teeth and paint the front surfaces with glue. The metal brackets will be pasted onto the teeth. A curing light is focused to fix the brackets. The orthodontist will thread a wire through the brackets and then place wires around the brackets to hold them in place.  

What care is required after fitting Metal Braces?

Patients should practice proper dental hygiene and brush and floss their teeth correctly. Patients should use fluoride toothpaste. They should not eat hard or chewy food items that will damage their braces. Patients should attend their orthodontist appointments to ensure the correct fianl position of the teeth is achieved.

I made my decision after a long research, and after visiting about 7 dental clinics.My advice is to decide after you visit the clinic, speak with the dentist who is going to do the job,ask to see other works done in the clinic,take information about the experience and background of the dentist and the clinic & control the reviews on google.

They even helped me with my accommodation, airport taxi, and local transport, and gave me great tips on places to visit in Tirana during my stay. The treatment was high quality, and I came back with a beautiful smile that cost me a fraction of what it would in the UK. Everyone kept asking where I had my teeth done ane no one could believe how affordable it was for such amazing results. Even after my treatment, the team kept in touch, always ready to answer questions and guide me.
