On the day, Damien greeted me by name (he’s definitely my “fairy godmother” of the day!) and made me feel welcome straight away. Joanna, my anaesthetist, and Piel in surgery were so friendly and reassuring, which kept me calm. When I woke up, Isabella was by my side, making sure I was comfortable and cared for. Everyone went above and beyond, and despite my anxiety, I felt completely supported. Highly recommend.
