He originally trained in General and Cardiothoracic Surgery in Egypt, where he has held uninterrupted specialist registration in General Surgery since 2007. He holds an MBBCh (Hons.), a Master of Surgery (Egypt), and has completed Part I of the MRCS (UK). After relocating to Australia, he obtained the AMC Certificate and undertook further clinical training. Dr Leo Kim is a Specialist Plastic Surgeon, a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He holds privileges as an admitting surgeon at The Skin Hospital (Darlinghurst and Westmead) and Castlecrag Private Hospital in the North Shore. Special interests include skin cancer reconstruction, eyelid surgery (both Eyelift and Asian eyelid surgery) and aesthetic plastic surgery.
