A large heavy breast is reduced in size. The nipple is lifted and the breast reshaped to create a smaller, less droopy breast. The procedure is aimed at reducing the effects of large or heavy breasts. Mr Adams will take a history of your concerns and examine you and give you recommendations. Breast reduction surgery involves removal of excess skin, fat and glandular tissue. It is indicated when the size of the breasts are too large or the breasts are uneven in size. The surgery leaves a scar around the nipple and in an “inverted T” shape on the breast and in the fold under the breast. Breast reduction surgery requires a general anaesthetic. It is performed as either day stay or hospital stay surgery. Complications of breast reduction surgery include scars, wound healing problems, asymmetry, changes in position, shape and nipple sensation; breast feeding may be affected.

A droopy (ptotic) breast is lifted and reshaped and the nipple re-positioned to create a better looking, less droopy breast. The procedure is aimed at improving the shape and position of the breasts.

It has been just over three weeks since Janet removed my skin cancer from my left hand cheek. I must say I was overly delighted with the result of her work. Many others have also commented on how well the incision has healed and that it is hardly visible. Being so large I was extremely worried as it is in a very prominent position on my face. I visited three doctors in all but were not confident with the other two. Janet put me at ease, spelt everything out clearly indicating my shortfall costs up front. I was very pleased with this explanation. I highly recommend Dr Huang and would gladly converse with anyone that is considering using her services. Definitely a five star result.
