Plastic Surgery

$10000 - $12000

Arm Lift

Excess skin and fatty tissue in the upper arms may be surgically removed to improve the shape of the arms and improve the fit of clothing.

Excess skin is removed and tailored to fit the smaller body underneath. The improvement in arm shape is exchanged for scars where the skin is removed. Incisions are placed on the inside of the arm which hides them when the arm is by your side but they are visible when your arm is lifted up (when waving). In appropriate cases, small reductions can be performed with a scar concealed in the armpit. Arm lifts are performed under general anaesthetic in a private hospital. Complications of surgery include long or visible scars, wound healing problems, stretched scars, residual folds of skin or stretch marks, and stretching of skin post operatively due to loss of elasticity in the skin.

$15000 - $20000

Breast Implant Revision

$16500 - $17500

Breast Implants

$18000 - $22000

Breast Lift

A droopy (ptotic) breast is lifted and reshaped and the nipple re-positioned to create a better looking, less droopy breast. The procedure is aimed at improving the shape and position of the breasts.

$15000 - $30000

Breast Reconstruction

$21000 - $24000

Breast Reduction

A large heavy breast is reduced in size. The nipple is lifted and the breast reshaped to create a smaller, less droopy breast. The procedure is aimed at reducing the effects of large or heavy breasts.

Mr Adams will take a history of your concerns and examine you and give you recommendations. Breast reduction surgery involves removal of excess skin, fat and glandular tissue. It is indicated when the size of the breasts are too large or the breasts are uneven in size. The surgery leaves a scar around the nipple and in an “inverted T” shape on the breast and in the fold under the breast. Breast reduction surgery requires a general anaesthetic. It is performed as either day stay or hospital stay surgery. Complications of breast reduction surgery include scars, wound healing problems, asymmetry, changes in position, shape and nipple sensation; breast feeding may be affected.

$7000 - $14000

Brow Lift

A low or heavy brow may give the eyes a tired or aged look. Lifting or stabilising the brow is aimed at reducing the weight of the brow and improving the appearance of the forehead and area around the eye.

Isolated brow droop (ptosis) can be corrected by lifting the brow and suspending it firmly at a higher position. Brow lift is commonly performed in conjunction with face lift and eyelid lift surgery. The lateral temporal suspension brow lift is where the weight of the brow is relieved by suspension sutures to balance the rejuvenation of a blepharoplasty or to complement the improvement in the cheeks and jowls achieved by a facelift. Complications of brow lift surgery include bruising, over correction or under correction, asymmetry, and injury to the nerve that lifts the eyebrow.

$8000 - $11000

Chin Implant

$5800 - $7000

Eyelid surgery

$5800 - $7000

Blepharoplasty

Heavy, tired looking eyelids may give the face an aged look. Upper or lower eyelid excess skin, and bulging fat are removed or reshaped to improve the weight and appearance of the eyelids.

Mr Adams will examine you carefully and advise if / what treatment of the eyelids is appropriate for you.  If you have dry eyes, vision problems or bleeding disorders, additional tests may be needed to determine if eyelid surgery is safe for you.  Upper eyelid surgery can be performed under either local or general anaesthetic.  Lower eyelid surgery is performed under a general anaesthetic.  Although most people heal well, complications of eyelid surgery include bruising, over correction or under correction, asymmetry, dry or irritated eyes, and in rare cases injury to the eye or loss of vision.

$5800 - $7000

Eye Lift

$20000 - $30000

Facelift

A modern facelift restores youthful volume and proportion to an aging face. Excessive folds of skin are removed and deeper tissues are suspended to give a natural improvement and inconspicuous scars.READ MORE

Maintaining the balance between improving the quality of the skin, restoring and re-positioning facial volume while maintaining a natural appearance is Mr Adams goal. He will listen to your concerns and determine what techniques are available to improve the areas of your concern. To maintain a balanced facial appearance facelift is often combined with brow, eyelid or neck surgery. Complications of face lift surgery are increased in smokers, diabetics and patients with hypertension. Complications may include, scars, bruising, swelling, asymmetry, skin healing problems, skin creases, incomplete correction, injury to the facial nerve, bleeding.

$12000 - $18000

Gynecomastia

Adolescent males and men of all ages can experience excessive growth of breast tissue which can cause embarrassment and social isolation.

Mr Adams performs a thorough history, examination and investigations to ensure that the cause of your breast growth is understood. Once this is understood the options for improvement of this condition are discussed. Common techniques used include liposuction, surgical excision of glandular and fatty tissue, and when needed, excision of excessive skin and/or nipple reduction and re-positioning. Sometimes staged surgery is needed to get the best result. Undertaking surgery to improve body image and confidence can be psychologically challenging and patients need to be well prepared.

$2400 - $3600

Inverted Nipple Surgery

Not all breasts and nipples develop in the same way. Short milk ducts can cause pulled in or "inverted" nipples. Larger nipples may be prominent and problematicREAD MORE

Changes in the height (projection) and width (diameter) of nipples is possible using plastic surgery techniques. In most cases these can be corrected under a local anaesthetic. Inverted nipples can be treated in a variety of ways depending on whether you have plans for future breast feeding. Complications of nipple surgery include infection, scars, failure of correction or incomplete correction; and division of milk ducts which can prevent effective lactation (breast feeding).

$5800 - $6500

Labiaplasty

Large or uncomfortable labia can be reduced to change the appearance and reduce discomfort caused by larger labia minora.

Enlarged labia may cause embarrassment with a sexual partner or discomfort in tight clothing, during sporting activities or during sexual intercourse. Some women are born with larger labia, or develop enlargement with age or childbirth. Those who dislike the large size of their labia minora may be suitable to have labial reduction surgery (labiaplasty). There is a wide range of normal labial size and shape. Mr Adams will assess you and discuss what options may be suitable for you if surgery is indicated.

$9000 - $16000

Liposuction

Focal deposits of fatty tissue can be removed from hips, thighs, abdomen, neck / chin, arms or chest. The goal is to improve shape and figure, and is not intended as a weight loss technique.

Everyone stores fat differently and some people find that even at a normal or low body weight they have bulges or pockets of fat which can cause clothing to fit poorly or concerns about body image. Liposuction uses a vacuum and thin tubes to remove fat from problematic areas. To determine if liposuction is appropriate for you, Mr Adams performs a detailed assessment and examination. Liposuction can be used to improve the results of other techniques such as abdominoplasty or breast reduction surgery. The complications of liposuction include irregular or lumpy areas, residual fatty deposits, hollows or grooves; and (rarely) injury to the body below the fat.

$21000 - $24000

Neck Lift

A neck lift is usually performed with a face lift to tighten folds of skin under the chin. Excess fat can be removed with liposuction or direct surgery. In mild conditions the neck may be treated by itself.READ MORE

A careful assessment of your goals and an examination of your neck and face are the key to ensuring the right stategy for you. Mr Adams will focus on your particular situation and develop a safe and appropriate plan for addressing your concerns. Excess fat can be removed with liposuction or direct surgery; the skin is re-draped; and the excess skin is excised with scars placed in inconspicuous places. Complications of neck lift are similar to those of face lift surgery.

Rhinoplasty

Cartilage and bone of the nose can be re-shaped to improve shape and function. This can correct a natural, but large, dorsal hump or tip; or repair an injured nose.

A shared understanding between patient and surgeon is essential for successful rhinoplasty surgery. When a large or obvious deformity is present, good improvements are possible in most cases. Smaller, subtle changes are more challenging to achieve and may be less satisfying for a patient. There is no perfect nose or face, but harmony between the nose and face is achieved by balance. If you have functional nasal problems, these may be corrected or worsened by rhinoplasty surgery. Other complications include bruising, swelling, asymmetry, dissatisfaction with the look of the nose, need for re-operation or revision.

$12000 - $19000

Thigh Lift

Excess skin and fatty tissue from the thighs may be surgically removed to improve the shape of the thighs and improve the fit of clothing.

Excess skin is removed and tailored to fit the smaller body underneath. The improvement in thigh shape is exchanged for scars where the skin is removed. Incisions are placed on the inside of the thigh. In appropriate cases, small reductions can be performed with a scar concealed in the groin only. Thigh lifts are performed under general anaesthetic in a private hospital. Compression garments are worn afterward to get the best results. Complications of surgery include long or visible scars, wound healing problems, stretched scars, labial splaying, residual folds of skin or stretchmarks, and stretching of skin post operatively due to loss of elasticity in the skin.

$21000 - $24000

Tummy Tuck

$21000 - $24000

Full Abdominoplasty

Unwanted folds of skin and fat on the tummy (abdomen) may be removed to improve the figure and the appearance of the abdomen. Stretch marks on the lower abdomen may be removed.

Abdominoplasty is an operation for treating excess skin and some underlying fat. It is sometimes combined with liposuction when there is excess fatty tissue as well as skin. The skin over the abdomen is lifted up, any hernia or muscle weakness repaired and then skin re-draped, and the excess removed. The tummy button is repositioned. The operation requires a general anaesthetic and an overnight stay in hospital. Complications of abdominoplasty surgery include long scars on the abdomen, a scar around the tummy button (umbilicus), wound healing problems, collections of blood or fluid (seroma), asymmetry, irregular contour of the skin and underlying tissues.
