We call your first visit - the Initial Consultation New Patient Forms When entering the clinic our receptionists will greet you and welcome you to our practice. We will request you fill our new patient health forms. The paperwork provides us with general information about yourself and the medical questionnaire section will help us establish your past medical history and give us details about your current condition. Consultation During the consultation you will be asked more detailed questions about your condition, relevant past medical conditions, your lifestyle (what you do for a living and how much exercise you take etc). This is important information which allows us to determine what stresses and strains in your life can be playing a role in causing your condition. Certain underlying medical conditions like previous surgery, arthritis, are relevant either as contributing factors to your complaint or in determining what treatment techniques are suitable for you. Examination We will then move on to the examination. This will focus on checking your posture, assessing your spinal joint (or other joint) movements and testing your nerve function. Muscle strength tests are used to identify areas of weakness. Blood pressure readings are taken to get an overall health picture. Report of Findings The nature and cause of your problem will be explained in detail (report of findings) as well as what treatment you will need (including how many treatments you are likely to need). You will also be given a chance to ask any questions you may have. Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays to get a full evaluation of a patient. I have been receiving chiropractic treatment at Lushington Chiropractic Clinic in Eastbourne for many years. This was to treat a right shoulder pain/weakness in my right side due to a combination of reasons: a fall on my right arm when younger, poor physical health, repetitive strain injury from various jobs and strain on my body after childcare. I have always found my treatment and the practitioners and clinic staff to be excellent. My condition was very painful but with repeated, regular chiropractic I have found that my strength has grown and I now feel at my optimum health. I still attend regular monthly appointments where possible to keep my body on track. Thank you so much to all the team!

This service is outstanding! I don’t usually write reviews, but this lady has helped both my husband and me so much that we now call her our "Angel." I had been dealing with pain in my foot, convinced I had broken a bone. After numerous X-rays with the NHS, several doctor appointments, and months of not walking properly, I had nearly given up hope of a solution. My husband, who sees her regularly for his hip and back issues, suggested I book an appointment. WOW! The "Angel" worked her magic, and in just one session, she cured so many problems I had accumulated over the years.
