I have been receiving chiropractic treatment at Lushington Chiropractic Clinic in Eastbourne for many years. This was to treat a right shoulder pain/weakness in my right side due to a combination of reasons: a fall on my right arm when younger, poor physical health, repetitive strain injury from various jobs and strain on my body after childcare. I have always found my treatment and the practitioners and clinic staff to be excellent. My condition was very painful but with repeated, regular chiropractic I have found that my strength has grown and I now feel at my optimum health. I still attend regular monthly appointments where possible to keep my body on track. Thank you so much to all the team!

I hurt my back June 2022 just moving a garden ornament for a friend. After trying an Osteopath without success, both myself and my wife, both in our seventies, decided to try a Chiropractor to help with our problems.
There is a very pleasant and relaxed feeling about practice. All the staff are very friendly and professional.

After my 1st consultation, I was offered an x-ray which proved that I had nothing major wrong with my back. The rest of my treatment involved manipulation and massage, after 6 treatments I felt able to get back on with my life and thankfully have been virtually pain free.

Greeted with a smile your ailments listened to carefully and you are given an appointment to assist you. Don't worry whatever is your problem is in his/her hands and you soon get an improved feeling which is exactly what I did. After a further appointment if required I soon began to lose my problem and it has not returned. Will go again should it rear it's ugly head again. Good value for money.

Three years ago, when my husband and I first visited Dr James Revell at the Lushington Clinic, our backs and our necks bore painful witness to our seventy-five years of farming, computer work and lots of long haul air travel. Together with fine masseurs, Ben and Ryan, James has worked marvels on us and we are certainly pain-free and very much more mobile than we were. I hope that when this virus allows, we will be able to visit them again at the friendly, welcoming Lushington Clinic.

During my initial visit, the chiropractor was patient and took his time to talk through my medical history before giving me a thorough examination. I was given my own care plan and was even invited to attend a free back care class which was very helpful. I have now had a few weeks of regular treatment and feel so much better. Everyone in the clinic is so friendly, it has a lovely relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Lushington Chiropractic to my friends.

I had suffered back and neck pain for a long time, a hazard of my secretarial job over many years and now catching up with me in retirement.

I started coming to Lushington about 2/3 years ago for regular maintenance adjustments, and Dr. Mykel has kept my back as flexible as it can be since I developed scoliosis.

Recently, after lifting a few heavy items and heaving shopping into my car, my back seized up almost completely with agonizing pain spasms for a whole weekend.

I had to be helped in and out of bed and to the bathroom. The pain subsided sufficiently for me to get to the clinic on Monday and, miraculously. Dr. Mykel gently manipulated, massaged my back and the pain is now negligible.

Thank you. I shall now go gently, will be careful in future and definitely continue regular maintenance visits.

I had been having shoulder pain for some time which I had just put down to wear and tear and age but I decided to try and get it sorted out so I visited Lushington Chiropractic. Michael Mason performed a very thorough examination and asked me lots of questions and did some tests to help him get to the root of my problem. He gave me a detailed diagnosis and a personalized treatment plan, he also recommended some exercises I could do at home and he suggested I attend one of their back care classes where I learned all sorts of interesting hints and tips.

My shoulder is now much better and I know to keep an eye on my posture to prevent it reoccurring. I have also been seen by Victoria White with a different problem and she was again very thorough in her examination and suggested I visit my GP to get tests done before commencing treatment which I was very impressed by.

The clinic has a very warm and friendly feel to it and nothing is ever too much trouble. I would definitely recommend Lushington Chiropractic to my friends and family, in fact, my 92-year-old Dad has a regular monthly visit to keep his neck moving freely!

As well as lower back pain, I had been suffering from tension in my neck and shoulders. I have been seeing chiropractor Mykel Mason and massage therapists Sue and Olly. This combined treatment has been really effective and helped to free me up, I don't need to go so often now but intend to continue for regular maintenance treatments so that I don't end up in the same discomfort again. I have also been given plenty of advice and exercises that I can do at home.

The staff are really friendly, you are made to feel welcome from the minute you step through the door. There is lots of information in reception about the staff and what other treatments are available. The whole clinic has a welcoming feel with free back care classes as well as complimentary apples and water.

I had been to the clinic before for sports massages with Andy last year for muscle tension and was very happy with his treatment.

This time I had been suffering 4 months of ongoing Sciatica in my right thigh ignoring it hoping it would go away! My right knee was also giving way due to being diagnosed with osteoarthritis back in February after an ultrasound scan and I had a lot of built up muscle tension because of being under stress and being a computer user. I was given an appointment with Dr. Mykel Mason, a lovely friendly kind chiropractor who assessed me under his consultation with a treatment plan at the end of May. Dr. Mason was able to give me more flexibility with my neck relieving the pressure felt in my right thigh. The Sciatica returned as I wasn't able to commit to two weekly regular treatments but the treatments helped to make me less tense in the neck.

At the end of June, I went down with a locked neck and muscle tension in my shoulder on top of shingles and constant infections of the scalp. As I had shingles and was contagious I had to stop all treatment until recently as my head is so sensitive to touch. I'm in post shingles phase where I'm having intense nerve pain in my head and taking nerve pain medication.

Currently, I'm having regular weekly treatment with Olly for my muscle tension in my neck and shoulder to release the tension which has made it more easier to sleep and eased the shoulder pain. I can actually turn my neck now and feel less tense after only 2 sessions.

I can also recommend the counselor in the clinic who I see once a week who counsels carers under the care the carers scheme and also find her very warm, empathic and kind, it's like speaking to a close friend. She makes me feel very comfortable and she is very easy to open up to.

I must say this is the same for both Dr. Mason and Olly. They are very kind people who are genuinely concerned about their clients and go the extra mile to do anything to help. I would highly recommend, Dr. Mykel Mason, Olly, Louise and the counselor for all my help with my emotional and physical well-being. Although it is taking a slow time to recover, I'm definitely on the mend thanks to their help with my treatments.

I returned to the clinic this year as I found the clinic's staff very warm and friendly and very knowledgeable. It's always a pleasant environment which makes you feel comfortable and relaxed and it is also in an ideal location in the middle of town.

I went to Deborah Ben-Shah with acute hip pain, x-rays revealed that the hip joints were fine but it was a spur at the base of the left hip joint that was causing the problem. My right hip is now pain free and my left hip with the spur substantially better after treatment. I found Deborah Ben Shaw extremely efficient and kind and totally resolved to sorting out my problems. I would not hesitate to recommend her.
